I use it for all jobs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super strong rope, very little flex. *by R***G on Reviewed in the United States on June 19, 2014* BEWARE! Due to the nature of UHMWPE this rope is more slippery than nylon and as such requires more and better knots, unless you braid in a loop on each end for carabiners or something similar. A spliced loop will allow the rope to retain 100% of its strength as opposed to knots reducing strength by up to60%. It came 2 days later than a few other items i ordered at the same time, but it came from across the country so that's normal I suppose. It was exactly what I ordered, and it was even neatly wound on a plastic reel. The only other thing I can say is, the posting said shipping weight was 3 pounds, but fedex says it weighed 2.8 lbs. Other than that it is a good price from what I've seen. And as we all know the Amsteel rope is the cream of the crop of high strength rope. And for any new buyers 7/64 is about the same thickness as paracord, and this stuff will be replacing my paracord items. Also this stuff is great for shoe laces as long as you double knot em. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really Like it, But have a Question *by D***G on Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2015* I really like this product. I do have one concern/question however and maybe someone who uses this can tell me what I may need to do differently.I'm not taking any stars from this because the product is really good and my question is more than likely user error.I have been using regular paracord to tie a midshipman's hitch and have not problems with it holding under load. However, when I use this rope and tie the exact same knot it slips under load.Has anyone else had issues like this or do I need to make a modification.Thanks for the help.
