Smartens up the aquarium
It's a nice little item that really helps smarten up the aquarium, prior to this I had a lump of sponge covering the inlet to prevent shrimplets and fry being sucked into the filter.The only issue I had with this item and others may experience too if not careful, is when it comes to fitting this to the inlet pipe, is it may twist if it's a tight fit, which may damage the wire mesh and leave the unit misshapen

Rusted and fallen apart in tge water after being used just over a month.
Rust formed and made it brital. Lasted just a week. Going back to sponge caps instead.

Does a great job no more little shrimps in the filter so I am very happy

had to modify opening
My filter intake is 15mm and this has 18mm opening . No big deal just superglued a rubberband to filter intake and works fine . No baby shrimps in filter.
