โInner Bonding has been a staple in my own personal journey home to wholeness.โ โAlanis Morissette, artist, activist, and teacher Take responsibility for every aspect of your life, love yourself unconditionally, and connect to your own divine guidance using the life-changing six-step process outlined in this breakthrough guide, from the best-selling author and cocreator of the Inner Bondingยฎ self-healing process. Many of us long for spiritual connection and divine guidanceโthe wisdom and ability to make decisions that benefit ourselves and the greater good. But weโve been conditioned to think and act selfishly, in ways that limit our access to the divine, with false, programmed beliefs that often result in suffering, addictive behaviors, and spiritual disconnection. The Inner Bonding Workbook can help you heal your psychic wounds and move beyond false limitations to achieve at-will, moment-by-moment connection with the divine. Youโll learn to move past the junk thoughts and junk food that can create a toxic environment, and that keep you mired in low-frequency feelings like anxiety, depression, guilt, and shame. Youโll discover how to attain the self-love and accountability necessary for spiritual connection and guidance. And, most importantly, youโll learn how to take responsibility for every aspect of your lifeโphysical, emotional, financial, relational, organizational, and spiritual. With this life-changing six-step process, youโll learn to tap into a higher source of love and truth at any moment in order to make your best decisions, realize a deep sense of freedom and personal power, and manifest your highest, most passionate purpose in life. Review: What a gem - After having tried to fix so many things about myself with so many therapies and techniques and meditating and what not, none of them permanently working, this book (and a few others in the inner child genre of therapy) are literally changing my life. With this book probably being the most valuable of the bunch. So many good, intelligent, well thought out and deeply perceptive exercises and questions, so much wisdom... It's truly a gem. Having read over 70 self help books, I rarely leave a review but this one earned it. Be warned that doing this work is TOUGH (but almost immediately rewarding). It is not uncommon for my body to want to lie down for half an hour afterwards. Probably because feeling so many emotions - and not pushing them away for a change - is simply very draining. Also, this is a work book and the exercises are pretty much mandatory for this to work. It's not a book to skim. Which means that often I have to put the book down even though I would still have some time reading on because I know I won't have time for an exercise right now so I'd better leave it for another moment. Finally, thank you Dr. Margaret! Review: Hard work but worth it. - This work book has helped me so much. Itโs a lot of work and I have had to pace myself at times, but I can see myself healing and learning to love and accept all the parts of me. A couple of things I did have to note from the perfectionist side of me, even if you donโt fully get the first step mastered or completely understand it, keep moving forward. And itโs ok to go back if you need to. I almost stopped at the first step because that one is probably the hardest for me, but Iโm glad I kept going to at least understand and connect it all more. Also, if you are a Christian, like me, there are some things in this book you might not agree with and thatโs ok. Donโt toss out the entire book for those few things that donโt line up with your belief system. There is so much wisdom and knowledge in this workbook that Iโve not been able to find anywhere else and it has truly helped me.

It's worth it, from a skeptic
I must admit, I was a little skeptical at first, but I came across Margaret Paul's work by reading Dr. Gabor Mate and someone recommended the Inner Bonding work. For me, the book and workbook have been really transformative so far and surprisingly useful in understanding my own internal dynamics of abandonment and disconnection. I started out doing the Workbook which gave me quite a bit of insight and then i went to the book. Others may want to start with the book and do the Workbook whenever it feels right. The book is an excellent companion to the Workbook. Since doing the Inner Bonding work, I have had all kinds of childhood memories and realizations arise and that has been very helpful in clearing the pain and disconnection. Also a terrific help to do journaling alongside the work.

Buy a paper copy, not Kindle
I bought the Kindle version and itโs very difficult to use as a โworkbookโ because you canโt write in it. Of course I use paper to write out the steps but I find it extremely cumbersome and sometimes frustrating to use the Kindle version because I often need to go back and review something I had read. If I had the paper copy this would be easier. I am very experienced with journaling and personal growth tools. I think the process is great, really good. But I believe if I wasnโt very experienced with self growth and healing tools, it would be very difficult to use effectively in general. Now I see there is a course to help guide you through the process, but it is $1800! Well thatโs why I bought the workbook two years ago in the first place. I have been able to piece together some tips from the Inner Bonding podcast and some YouTube videos for making the process less cumbersome, but I am sure a course would be a much more efficient way to learn to use the process most effectively. Not going to spend $1800 though. Will keep muddling through with what I have.

An amazing workbook!
The Inner Bonding Workbook is another amazing work by Margaret Paul! This workbook teaches you the process of how to take loving care of yourself and how to connect with your spiritual guide. The process includes exercises that allow you to do deeper experiential healing. By learning the Inner Bonding process, I have a deeper connection with myself, with God and with others in my life. I also now have access to truth and wisdom in ways that heal both depression and anxiety and help me to be loving and present with my feelings. I am so grateful to Margaret Paul for teaching me this life-changing process! My greatest treasure is my connection with guidance, learning to hear wisdom and to feel unconditional love. I now get to share this gift with others! Kelly S. James, LMFT

This Workbook is a great tool in applying and practicing Inner Bonding in your life!
Dr. Margaret Paul's Inner Bonding Workbook is really amazing, easy to read and very helpful with learning to apply the 6 steps of Inner Bonding, and learning to love yourself in all different aspects/situations in life. The exercises to do as you read along the book really help to go deeper within and to learn about yourself and it feels as real as having a one-on-one session with Dr. Paul. This book will really help you with getting to know yourself deeper and is a great tool with practicing Inner Bonding. I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to learn how to love yourself and develop a stronger, more loving adult part of you.

Incredibly useful
Incredibly useful book about the compassionate way to connect to yourself and others. Best explanation and process about how to become responsible and care gently about your own feelings. A word of caution - if you are deeply hurt and are usually really hard on yourself, doing this kind of introspection alone can be very difficult, because you don't have the inner reference about what it feels like to be kind and compassionate towards yourself, in which case it's really worthwhile to seek loving help.

Life changing modality and beautiful workbook
Dr Margaret Paul, beloved and inspirational teacher, and PhD in psychology, has changed the lives of so many people around the world with Inner Bonding. This workbook, her latest work, delves deeper into each of her steps providing very easy to follow examples so you can become "your own guru". What distinguishes Margaret and her work from so many modalities out there is her ability to condense very complex psychological phenomena, in easy to do steps so you can truly empower yourself. It is sustainable, modern and ethical. She wants you to get better. Her method is actually rooted in evidence-based scientific concepts. She brings a life-time of experience, her her life-long love of helping others and her incisive and intuitive psychological understanding to help you go right at the heart of what might be preventing you from thriving. Where others modalities fall short, or do not help you over time, hers work, as so many clients in all spheres (business, Arts, Healthcare and others) attest. I could not recommend her work, her books enough. If you have a chance, treat yourself to a session with Margaret. You will never be the same after.

Disappointingly waffley
I had great hopes for this and was ready to dive in deep but it takes a really long time to get going so I gave up. Lots of talk about God too and identifying a higher power to be thankful too which I found difficult to take on board. I ended up skipping over bits leading up to the first exercise and had list my oomph by then. I will go back to it and some point but just skip to the exercises. Maybe the book would have been easier than this workbook.
