I decided that I’d better start trying some of the products that I have stockpiled. My goodness, this was easy!!! I did fine, however, that I needed to add probably 1/2-3/4 cup more of mix to have the dough come together nicely. I make the dough in my machine, but bake it off in the oven - preheated at 360 and baked for 35 minutes. The resulting loaf was incredible!!! Crunchy crust and soft, fluffy interior. I hit the crust with a little butter while it was hot. It softened into a wonderful and delicious sandwich bread. Product is perfect to have on hand for lazy days and for when baking supplies may be difficult to find. I don’t hesitate to recommend this product.

I am so happy I found this flour. First time I used today I made pizza at home. The taste and texture is better than take out pizza. I used bread recipe from can of flour. I did add sugar and other flavorings and spices to make it taste like pizza. No strange taste at all. Bottom of crust was so brown and has the chew like take out pizza but better. I have tried to bake real white bread by myself but the bread either didn't rise or when I baked it the bread was so heavy like a brick. So this bread flour is going to help me achieve a loaf of bread finally. Can't wait to try it soon. The price is reasonable for all this flour. I usually pay at least $5 for a small bag of Gold medal bread flour. The flour can be used for so many ideas. The texture is great. Taste is great. Very easy to use. I have update on this flour and I baked biscuits and they came out amazing. I added a little garlic and onion powder for more flavor and I loved the biscuits. I also made cinnamon mini rolls from this dough. Everything comes out amazing. One thing I do now instead of using yeast because I have become allergic I use baking powder and everything still rises and bakes amazing even pizza dough

The can of Auguson Farms Bread mix I used is actually from a variety pack that I ordered in 2022 that also contains other products like potato soup, vegetable soup, corn, etc. The bread mix has a much shorter shelf life of 10 years versus other products that can go up to 25 years. I re-ordered a newer can of bread mix and decided to finally try the older can to make sure I could make an edible loaf and whether it would be worth re-ordering more. This is the first time in my life that I have attempted to make bread so I decided to start with a half loaf mix just in case. Overall the process is simple enough and I didn’t spend alot of time with exact measurements. I also didn’t knead the dough excessively and mainly just keep stirring and folding the dough over as best I could with a spoon in a large bowl. I did end up with a fairly sticky dough and I let it proof probably a total of 40 minutes before baking. The baking process did make the bread rise more than I thought and came out quite nice. There is a very slight sweetness from the honey and a half loaf recipe made a much larger loaf than I thought it would. Texture has a certain density to it. Not hard to chew but is heavier than a store bought loaf and is great with just some butter. The bread mix is a versatile product that can be used to make bread or rolls and fine for electric bread makers as well. The #10 size can provides for a very shelf stable long term food product that will serve a lot of uses and is invaluable in time of emergency or crisis. Only reason for 4 stars is that the instructions are a little vague so I relied more on YouTube to guide me. Would be nice in Auguson would create their own videos detailing the process more clearly. Also an instant dry yeast and vegetable oil are required so this isn’t entirely a standalone all in one bread mix but definitely easier than having to acquire and store all of the individual ingredients separately. That all being said I would recommend this product. The price is fair and I will order more.

The directions for perfect bread is on the container; so simple. So GOOD!

Bought for a friend who was expecting a 10 year shelf life product only to see a 2033 best before date, she's not happy. I'm just happy it didn't cost me as much as it could have.
