Kato is unmatched in detail for N scale

Pretty good.
Kato is known for perfect quality and these UP Aux tenders were no short of that. However the one flaw I felt these had is that the leading tender tends to derail. This could be fixable with more weight added.

For the price I think the Kato N scale Passenger cars Are simply some of the best you can buy. They have remained consistent throughout the years continually are shipped in plastic jewel cases and it’s one of the best things is that they are not made in China

Coupler boxes are terrible
Kato is one of the best out there. I have hundreds of feet of track and several locomotives and rolling stock. I have never had any issues mind you these are absolutely beautiful and roll great. I am super disappointed that the couplers had fallen off in the box. It took me quite a while to put them back together and when I finally put them on the track with Any kind of load they would pop off again. If Kato is reading these you need to make they couple box better and stronger. This is a shame that I have an expensive but beautiful set of cars that are unusable.

Comes with weights
I was gifted the locomotive. And so I had to buy these water tenders. Pleasantly surprised by the heft. They come with weights installed.
