I've always had a difficult time with mascara -- soft, short, fine eyelashes that don't stay curled and straighten with too much weight/mascara on them. But I did some research recently, and found this product. i was delighted because it sounded so good and the price was economical. Great combo, right? Yes, it is! Right out of the box, it did exactly what the review said it would. The mascara went on smoothly, build a nice look for my eyelashes and it stayed on for the day. THAT'S a big deal for me since I'm extremely heat sensitive and perspire way too easily. I also have oily skin and most cosmetics don't last long on me at all. There are only 2 issues and I will caution readers to understand that this is largely due to MY personal circumstances. Some of you may have similar circumstances, so you can adjust or adjust accordingly. 1) On a very warm morning outside doing my photographic work with dogs, the heat did make the mascara bead up and flake off to some extent. 2) I will caution you that it's important to apply a good amount to get it to perform well and stay on for a long time. I tried to just put enough to give my light lashes some color and that didn't work for me. 2-3 hours after application, I looked in the mirror and saw that most of it was flaking off. Completely the fault of the mascara ... probably not. This year we are all suffering some nasty summer heat so who knows how much that affected the endurance of the product!?! And as I say, I have certain physical things that come into play, so it's can't all be the fault of the mascara. So for me, that's why it gets 5-stars overall. It even removes well with the right product designed to remove waterproof cosmetics. I'm very happy with it because it really is the best yet and I will continue to use it!

This mascara is fantastic! I'm quite picky when it comes to mascara, I like jet black with extra volume and extra length, and it must be waterproof and not come off at all. Lately it seems like all waterproof mascaras have been smudging under my eyes and by the end of day of sitting at my desk and doing NOTHING I still end up look like a tired hooker. But not with this gem of a mascara!! I have finally found my dream come true, even better than any mascara I've ever used! My lashes look fake, they are thick and full and keep the curl, after a twelve hour day with a work out in the middle, it doesn't budge!! At night I use a little Philosophy eye makeup remover on a cotton round and it comes right off, it with a gentle face wash in the shower. It also cries off just a little but it ”rolls” right off your cheeks and you would never know you cried :) I've been searching for years for this stuff <3 loyal customer for life!

An amazing product that delivers beyond desired results

Pros: comes off really easy. Cons: a lot. This had a distinct alcohol smell when pulling it out which means it’s not made with high quality ingredients like it advertises. Instead I decided I’ll still try it and put it on even though I was pretty sure the manufacturer used mineral spirits in it. Oh and the ingredients are in Chinese there is no English translation to know if the manufacturer is being honest or not. Anyways, I tried it on. It clumps. It runs. It looks cheap. The smell is terrible. Still looked okay for the price. However, within five minutes of wearing it my eyes actually started to burn. It felt exactly like someone had taken straight alcohol and put it on my lashes. Needless to say I removed it right away and am returning it after my first use. Friends, I won’t recommend this product to anyone. After this I am officially going back to makeup brands who are honest about what is in their products and well known. I suggest everyone steers clear of this and does the same.

I found it takes a little trial and error but I think that is with all fiber mascaras. I like using a primer first and once the primer is mostly dry I apply the mascara. Usually for me 3-4 strokes is all that you can do before it starts to feel like spider eyes. That's where the trial and error comes in. I curl, prime, then 3-4 strokes and it's perfect. Adds lots of volume and doesn't get clumpy unless you over apply. The tube seems to be pretty long lasting as well, I wear it 6 days a week and I've had it for several months. Makeup remover is a must...does not come off with regular face wash. EDIT: My last purchase was described as "2-pack" for $9.99. It came as the regular single package which is usually $9.99. I made note with Amazon and they are sending a 2nd mascara.

This product is very thick & gluggy

Not waterproof or tear proof. Messy and not worth the price. Made in China heaven knows what the ingredients are as nothing on container or box made sense. Only thing waterproof is container
