I added a 32GB key shaped flash drive to remove my old one off the keyring. The Keysmart is still holding strong though. I unfortunately broke a key trying to lock a deadbolt, while it was in this, and even though the key broke this didn't break a sweat. I'd give this a full 5 stars now but I was reminded again of the rage inducing frustration this causes when adding/swapping out keys. I also got the Keysmart beltloop/pocket accessory to connect it all to. Added new pic to showOriginal: 10-5-19I just received this today 10-5-19 but I do have some insight I can share.Installation:I decided to add 5 keys (the ones I use the most) to test this. Unfortunately, nothing is permanently held together on this. So the posts (hollow threaded half) and bolts are just separated by the plates.Those posts have to hold everything in place: the plates, keys, spacers, attachments etc together until you get the screws in. I would compare putting it together with that of a house of cards. The posts are short (you could probably fit 4 keys without an issue) but you can add more keys past those. The problem comes when you go to add a key past the end of the post. Once you add anything past it it just floats there until you hopefully line it all up (including the other plate) and stab the screw through. Unless it's stacked up perfectly it falls apart.After you get it through it does hold everything together very well.Also - I highly suggest using the included spacers so the keys don't stick together.If this helped you please mark it as such. Thanks ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Surprisingly good *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2019* One of the reasons I like the KeySmart is that I ordered another brand of compact key organizer first (and returned). You'd think one is pretty much the same as the others, right? I was surprised to find out that this wasn't so.I edited this review to add my experience with what sound like the most common complaints: assembling it and screws coming loose:* Assembly. I understand that it's tricky to get stuff together for the first setup, and once you have it set up, you may need to rearrange some things. But as soon as I ordered it, I received an email with a link to a video that explained precisely how to set it up the easiest way. Maybe this is something that KeySmart has only started recently, but if that's not the case, I don't understand how some reviews claim that there are no instructions.* Loosening screws. I don't understand this one, either. The keys only come in contact with the *stationary* posts because the screws that loosen/tighten thread inside the stationary posts, so I don't understand how moving a key can affect the screw tightness at all. Maybe the screws aren't tight enough to begin with? Bottom line, I have had ZERO problems with screws loosening.OK, now time for my review...What do I *not* like? I think it's a little chintzy that a bottle opener is optional. But that's it for the "room for improvement" section.What *do* I like?1) The washers are made from a thin, firm, fiber material. The result is that you have room for more keys (because the washers are thin) and the keys sit firmly parallel to the other keys. Another brand had thicker, squishy rubber washers that left some keys sitting at an angle and interfering with the keys on the opposite side.2) Nice streamlined design. No silly stuff like wrenches or "mobile phone holders" in the outside plates.3) Lightweight! Crazy - I didn't think this would make much of a difference, but the other one I bought (and returned) was stamped steel or something, and the weight difference was surprisingly significant.4) The back posts are knurled, and don't turn when you tighten the screws into them.5) The quality of the materials is much better. And you can order replacement parts if necessary. Maybe I'm naive, but unlike some of the knock-off brands, I feel like this company will be there for a while, and not on to make the next cheap knock-off item after they sell out the production run of this one. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Higher Quality, But Screws Keep Coming Loose *by D***U on Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2019* I had a knock off brand for a few years. After that finally kicked the bucket, i decided to spend a bit more and go with the higher quality original KeySmart. The build is obviously superior because the paint chipped off my old one almost immediately. Unfortunately, mine seems to have the same problem other people have mentioned, the screws loosen weekly with daily use. Luckily, I've read the reviews and haven't had the screws come out and keys fall everywhere yet, but I fear it'll eventually happen. You can kind of tell when it's going to occur because the keys get super loose to the point where you can jsut tighten with your thumb. The downside to tightening is that the keys become super tight and hard to swing out.
