I can confirm the soft white touch buttons do come with + - and home buttons!! I purchased these unsure as other reviews stated they didn’t come with the rest but thank god they did as they look great! I’ve never customised any electronic devices before but plucked up the courage to give it a go. Took me a total of 6 hours to change over the buttons and entire shell (I purchased the cherry blossom pink shell from ExtremeRate too and white joycon sticks from Jeylly) with watching YouTube videos to help. Over the moon with how it turned out and wasn’t as complicated as I feared. Anyone thinking of doing it themselves, do it! Just take your time and be extra careful with the ribbons and screws to not strip the threads and you’ll be good to go.

Good product. Watch the video tutorial, 2 hours fitting for 2 joycons. Start with the LEFT joycon, the easiest of the two. Be careful and take your time.

Overall the buttons are ok, they are all white underneath with the colour painted on which wears off over time. Also the kit only provides the centre of the home button without the clear surround, it's impossible to replace this in a standard switch home button as it is a single moulded piece. Why not provide the whole button or nothing at all..

Lovely "cherry blossom" pink and "light violet" buttons. Great quality, pretty pastel colour and arrived when expected. They feel really nice and don't feel cheap or lesser than the original buttons. Very happy customer. Was easy to install as eXtremeRate has provided YouTube tutorials on how to apply their products. Follow the YouTube tutorial provided, take your time, be gentle and you really can't go wrong.

Decent quality plastic and the colour is perfect, would be 5 stars if it came with the button that releases the joycons from the tablet.

I bought these as a part of a full shell replacement, I'm not sure I could justify quite how much disassembly was required to swap the buttons if I wasn't also doing that. As per other reviews, I discarded the provided tools immediately and used my iFixit (no affiliation) kit's tools. I highly recommend following the iFixit guides too, they're very thorough. The buttons themselves are keyed so they can only be inserted in the correct orientation, but as I write this review I have realised that they are not keyed for direction - so I have inserted the arrow buttons in a random order. I highly recommend you pay attention to that so you won't be as frustrated as I am right now.

To start off with I would like to say that I am a novice when it comes to this sort of thing. I literally bought my switch and the next day, took it apart to customise with minimal knowledge of what I was doing. It is time consuming and you need patience (took me around 2 hours total for all my modifications)! The instructions are all in the photos on the advert and I’m really pleased with the results. The kit comes with absolutely everything you need to completely modify the buttons including the buttons on the inside edge of the joycons. Very pleased at how they came out and really good the part with the rest of my modifications.

The colour is lovely but I’d describe it more as a pastel colour. I love how it goes with the Joy-Con shell also by extremerate. My only criticism is the home button, it wouldn’t stay in the clear holder provided so we had to glue it in place and because the plastic is so soft it marked during the process. Other than that they look great, feel great, reasonably easy to install and change out.

This was my first attempt at a shell replacement for the switch joycons and the installation was easy/moderately difficult for me. I started the installation using a random video on YouTube, until I remembered that this shop has a YouTube video with installation videos, and once I started watching their video the process became 100x easier. I’m very satisfied with the quality of the product, and I love the way it turned out. I also purchased the mint & heavenly blue button packs to go for a monochrome look for these joycons and so far, I’m in love! I can’t say much on durability as of right now, as I’ve only been using them for a few days now. Quality out of the packaging is incredible considering the price of new joycons. I was able to get this super cute look and change out some pretty well loved, boring grey joycons and now they look brand new, and fit my preference of style for maybe $30-$40 total with the price of the buttons included. That is a win in my books!
