As seen strapped to the frames of some of the world's fastest rigs, the Racer is the speediest, lightest Dynaplug tool and just what you want to have on hand when the clock is ticking and the podium beckons. Dynaplug is the fastest, easiest and all-round best way to repair a tubeless tire mid-ride. When needed, just remove whatever caused the puncture, firmly push the novel insertion tube straight (without twisting) into the hole and extract the tool depositing the repair plug in the tire, done! The sealant-friendly repair plug is a unique viscoelastic impregnated rubber that bonds instantly and permanently with your tire, and the nonabrasive brass tip will not scratch your rim or puncture your rim tape. No need to remove the tire, no messy glues or solvents, just plug and go, go, GO! All Dynaplug Tools have a limited life time warranty and are MADE IN THE USA. Review: If this worked any better, I would be suspected of witchcraft. - TL;DR This is an important tool for holes that are too large for sealant to handle alone. It's easier than installing an automotive plug and not a bad price for the convenience this product provides. I'm a commuter in Honolulu, and we have terrible roads and not much better bike paths. Broken glass is relatively common, and some of the thorns will go straight through the sole of your shoe. It's not ideal for cycling, and I'd be changing a tube every week or two despite having the best tires I could afford. In a fit of inspiration, I decided to go tubeless a while back. I bought this tool when I ordered the tires. The intelligent man running the bike shop in Honolulu put some sealant in there, which was good enough for six weeks of trouble-free riding. Eventually, I did hit something larger, and sealant bled out of my tire as though I had spilled milk on the road. Crestfallen, I kept spinning my tire and trying to get the sealant to do its trick. Like an idiot, I wasn't using the plug. Mostly because I was afraid that I'd mess it up in the field. After stopping and using an air pump, I heard the sealant give way with a horrifying hisssss. It took me literally seconds to: Grab the tool from the bottle cage, uncap one-end and jam the plug in there. It stopped immediately, needing only a little trim to finish up. It's been about a week, and the plug seems fine. Price-wise, I feel like I've gotten a good deal. The tool costs a bit, but it's well made and most importantly it is sealed and ready-to-use when needed. I didn't need to play with any solvents, or try to manipulating a gooey little elastomer with dirty/greasy hands. Review: Works like a champ - Had my first puncture since buying this in a brand new GP5000 TR S tire. Once it became apparent the sealant wasn't going to help the situation I pulled this out and popped it in the hole. A quick hit from a pump and I was back on the road. I had a 8% grade decline following the puncture, but after a minute or two riding on it with no adverse effects I was able to get over 40 MPH on it with no issues. I've since done a 100 mile ride on it and it's held air both between rides and on them. Don't leave home with out one of these if you're tubeless. You can see in the pic the gravely bit is the left over plug material holding on to debris. That has since worn off completely.

ABSOLUTE NECESSITY FOR TUBELESS SETUPS
Trail-tested... rider approved! I figured I'd wait until I had used it before writing this review, though hoped I wouldn't have to. Secretly, however, I was kind of hoping for a flat to try it on - curious to see for myself if it lived up to the hype and countless 5-Star reviews. IT'S THE REAL DEAL FOLKS. Two days ago: small-ish puncture on middle seam, in between treads...very clean. Sealant almost held on its own, but when it didn't, slammed a small plug into the hole and WHAMMO...instant seal. I had another 2 mi. of steep, rocky, downhill left that served as the ultimate test, and it held perfectly. Rode 15 rocky miles on it the next day - no pressure loss.

Fast and convenient
Works. Used it on a 38mm Gravel King slick. Hole was hard to see beneath bubbling sealant, but looked like it was caused by a glass shard, and the sealant couldn’t cope with size of puncture. I used the smaller, cone-shaped plug; took two tries because I didn’t insert the plug far enough the first time (manual says make sure you bottom out the insertion, so user error). Plug allowed sealant to work, but there was long tail of plug sticking out. I resisted the urge to cut it, added some air (maybe got to 25 PSI) and rode for another uneventful 2 hours. When I got home I trimmed off excess plug, inflated back to 45 PSI, and very pleased to see pressure maintained. Really liked not having to remove a wheel to fix a flat.

It works great. Make sure you get the short "Bicycle" refills.
**UPDATE** Upgraded from 1 star Dynaplug reached out to me. There are two size refills The bike plugs are new and the description on the refills had misleading information. Dynaplug is sending me the correct refills and will correct the info on their product description. These are the correct refills: Dynaplug Bicycle Tubeless Tire Repair Plugs The repair I made held until the tire wore out and I replaced it. Be careful running your hand inside the tire after a repair! --Original Review-- it can not be refilled. No mater how much you wet it, spit on it, or squeeze it (per manufacturer's instructions). The refill only slides part way in the tube. I did repair a tire and it worked well, but it's a one use tool. you will have to buy another one after each use.

tubes out, dynaplug in.
Perfect for people without a lot of room. Also it holds both a large and small plug which unless you are going out on epic all day rides (and even then) is more than enough. i'm actually not sure who would use all the other versions of these. Why carry more than you need and this does a great job of carrying two plugs ready to go, which can be important when you are losing air fast in a tubeless tire because you need some pressure in it in order to get the plug in. After getting my tube fixed by a friend using one of these (and then riding it for months after) i have switched to only carrying this tool instead of a tube.

Essential for your MTB tool quiver!
Highly recommend for any mountain biker running tubeless tires. This dynaplug racer kit is lightweight and quickly plugs small to medium holes in tires when on the trail. It is a must have for short or long rides, as makes fixing a flat so easy and almost fun. Just plug hole and pump air. Sometimes might need two plugs for bigger holes. I do not trim the excess stem of plug protruding well outside tire. One can trim if concerned, but I have ridden for 20-30 more miles on a plug that is not trimmed after insertion and it is not dislodged by trail debris. Thanks Dynaplug!

Finally a tubeless bike tire repair tool that actually works! I've tried others, and they've tended to make the hole bigger when the plug was fitted, was difficult to get the plug to seat in the tire, and eventually made the problem worse, resulting in further leakage. When I had a puncture the other day, the Dynaplug just worked - sealed the hole quickly, with no mess, and didn't make it worse! Pretty expensive compared to other products, but I think its worth the premium.
