How long does the food stay fresh as having a garden party for around 30 people so using them for cold buffet items and cakes

The food will stay fresh for as long as it would do if it were covered in cling film ! Providing you have refrigeration . If I was going to be using them as you suggest , I would only make the trays up with items the day before at the earliest.Have a lovely time

Hi, It all depends on what sort of hot food you are talking about. Sausage rolls / chips / quiche / cocktail sausages should all be ok but if you are wanting to put boiling hot food on them then no they would not be ok.
