Set-up Issues
The device works fine but I did have a set-up issue. Having created a password the device was then not visible - or, rather, the Security Drive (which is where you save files to) was not visible. All my MacBook was showing me was the 'Total Secure' icon. In other words I was initially unable to save anything to the memory stick because I could not select the necessary drive. Tried re-installing several times and eventually the Security Drive became visible. Wouldn't have a clue whether this is an Apple or Integral issue but if anyone else is having the same problem perhaps my experience will be of use.

Keep you data safe
I use these memory sticks to keep important data, passwords etc. safe. This stick is hardware encrypted and thus more or less impossible to hack. The stick stores all my passwords most of which I generate using random number generators. I then only need to remember one long and complex password; that to the stick. It us easy to use just make sure that the password you create you can remember because if you forget it you won't get back in!

Nice
Thin enough to squeeze into other socket between other usb plugs but not so small so you would misplace it. Plastic package is adequate and sensible. Software is simple to use. Manual fairly easy to read. I got this for a medium-ish competent user and they find it very good. Cannot comment on speed as it's mostly docs rather than media. 6months on... Very pleased still. No sign of wear. Software takes some abuse but is very stable. No data loss despite daily use. User is very happy still

Works really well and exactly what I wanted
No issues so far! Really like it - it's easy to set up and use.

Plasticky - but effective
Wanted a simple way to protect data - and this does the job. However it is not very well made - feels very plasticky.

Easy to use
This worked seamlessly on a Windows 10 PC, with an easy set up.

Doesn't work in a corporate environment unless you have admin rights
The Integral Courier FIPS197 is advertised as usable without admin rights on a Windows PC which is exactly what I was looking for so I bought the 16GB version to use in the corporate environment and on client sites where local admin rights are not available, PC's are bolted down using endpoint encryption / anti-virus suites and USB drives have read-only access. Sadly, this USB stick does not work as advertised and only functions with "vanilla" user accounts. This means out-of-the-box Windows installations where a user account is enabled with no other further configuration. Try plugging this into a corporate PC and the encryption software is unable to start which is strange as I can run other executables from conventional USB sticks, even if they are read only. On a normal PC, the stick does work great and the software is very slick. Plug the USB drive in and it appears as a read-only removable drive. Once you have entered the correct password, another drive is mounted where your files and folders are visible and can be written to directly. Everything is hardware encrypted and decrypted on-the-fly so there is no separate software to run. Once finished, just click the taskbar icon to unmount and your data is safely stored and encrypted. You can even set up a password hint or contact information if the USB stick is lost and then subsequently found whilst the security is further hardened by the USB drive being wiped after several unsuccessful password entries. This is the third such hardware encrypted USB drive I have tried (the others being a Kingston DataTraveler Encrypted G2 and Verbatim Corporate Secure FIPS) and none of them work in a corporate environment as described above so until then, the only option is to stick to a software solution.

The Integral line of encrypted flash drives are unique in the sense that they have their own self-contained encryption software. This keeps you from having to download software from the internet and/or the manufacturer. The only problem I have encountered with the Integral line of flash drives is that you are not capable of duplicating, or transferring, data from one Integral flash drive to another. This is due to the fact that the name of the flash drives are the same. So when you connect more than one flash drive into your computer, the computer cannot differentiate between the two, and therefor will not allow the copying of data between the two. If Integral would provide a work-around for this problem, I could buy many more of these drives and also recommend them to my associates.

Je trouve cette clé très facile a utiliser pour moi qui ne suis pas un pro de l'informatique. Les fichiers sont sécurisés pas un code, simple d'utilisation.
