I even looked forward to reading it, and I HATE reading! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A decent book on public speaking for anyone interesting in the topic *by W***E on December 29, 2012* I purchased this book for an undergraduate class on public speaking. I do a lot of public speaking and still found this book to be both interesting and helpful in that it provided some interesting points even for accomplished public speakers. I especially enjoyed the historical background on both the classic and modern approaches to public speaking. I also found the topics on specific methodologies for persuasive speaking to be thought provoking. On the downside, the book isn’t inexpensive; but most university text books aren’t. IMPORTANT NOTE: I decided to get the Kindle addition so I could search the book, book mark topics of importance and make electronic notes. One warning, if you need access to the website that has the associated video materials available with the hardbound copy the code to access these do NOT come with the kindle version!
