The car is over 2 feet long and heavy.The head lights blinked on and off and the kids could play the cars music and driving noises. Kind of loud. After charging the battery pack a full day on slow charge and checking the battery did not get warm/hot (never did) we installed it in the car. On the battery pack is a two prong plastic connector we used for charging and for electrically connecting to the car. The battery worked well and the kids and wife played with the car for about an hour before getting bored. I told them to keep on playing with it maybe tonight and tomorrow until the battery runs low. You want to fully charge a NiCd battery and fully discharge it before recharging. That way the battery will not form a "memory" only allowing a limited charge and reduced running time. So far the battery pack has worked well.
