It works just as good as a name brand
It feels a little cheaper. You can tell the grip is slightly different than a standard Sony grip. But otherwise it works great. Definitely not waterproof or water resistant so don't think you can go take this around the waterfalls I do kind of wish I had a secondary way of connecting to the camera other than just the screw mount on the bottom of the camera. Also, the feet to put a strap are in weird locations.

Camera add on
Fit like a glove. Double battery for longer shots. Worked very easily, all needed changes on holder.

Ergonomic and Price
Not bad! I’m very happy that my Sony A7II now has double the battery life since it’s not a surprise that this camera eats batteries. And the buttons work and the ergonomics are great.

No gap and lightweight
Unlike other brands the battery group has no gap between the camera. Fits two batteries and has a separate On/Off switch.

Good solid value
Really great product. Feels good in the hand and feels sturdy. The rubber grip feels a little cheap, dry?, and not as nice as what’s on the camera but this for the price, this is great.

BE CAREFUL!!
Something inside the grip scratched my battery going in or out of the grip. When I went to take out the batteries for the first time there was a visible scratch on my battery that wasn't there before. Be careful and check the inside of the battery compartment. The battery had just started to inflate

Technically a grip.
Does it work? Yes. Does it match the A7s ii buttons? no. Is it reliable? No. You have to either hold the two tight together or pull it slightly away from the body for reliable shutter triggering.

Perfect
Does everything the Sony grip does for a fraction of the price.
