Contempo Rain Chain (Black)

This rain chain looks great and works even better! We're using it to feed water into our rain barrel, and it's handled the job with no issues. There's a little bit of splash-out in heavier rain, but that's to be expected. The black powder-coated aluminum looks sharp and feels durable. Easy to install, and it adds a nice decorative touch to our gutter setup while staying fully functional. Highly recommend for anyone going the rain barrel route

These were a perfect solution to our back deck. A gutter would’ve been much less attractive, and they serve the purpose well. Hopefully they will hold up to time and weather. We have had them installed for about two months now and they are doing great. They manage rain flow well, and it’s nice to sit on our back deck in a light rain and watch the water trickle down. We tacked them into the ground with tent stakes so that they don’t blow around.

These are so pretty to watch the rain fall through from my lanai. Very sturdy. The only surprise was they I had to assemble them. Its easy to do but a little scarry at first becaue the wire bends kind of easy and I was afraid I would bend them out of shape.

Looks nice and fits with the decor of the house. One issue is during heavy downpours, the water splatters everywhere. In moderate rain, the flow works perfectly. We installed two rain chain downspouts to help alleviate some of the flow issues. If someone has a solution to help with heavy downpours as the water likes flow at an angle instead of down, I'm all ears.

Easy to setup, a little time consuming, looks and works nice

This rain chain works well, even with the type of downpours in Louisiana, so the cup size can handle any weather. They look (and sound) attractive. I love sitting outside when it rains to watch the water come down. The installation was easy and quick. They have been up for two seasons, and we don't see any signs of wear.

We purchased this rain chain several months ago and finally got around to installing it. Coincidentally it was a rainy day with periods of very heavy pouring. This chain holds up to very heavy rain, with the water staying within the cups and not splashing around the sides. We love the look of the chain and only wish that there was an option to purchase smaller segments as we could use just 2-3 more cups for the height of our house and don't need a whole other chain. Perhaps the seller will consider selling smaller segments of chains that might have been returned due to a bad segment on a full chain (though I don't see how as they feel very well made, but production or shipping issues happen). This is a beautiful, functional, and sturdy rain chain. Update June 13, 2020: The chain has held up great for the last 3 years and we still love it!

These really stand out and work quite well during a light to moderate rainfall. Keep in mind that during summertime downpours the amount of water coming out of your downspout may overwhelm them or if you have a considerably long gutter run. Mine are on a shorter section of maybe 50' and work perfectly during 80% of our rainfalls. When they are overwhelmed the still function but the water cascades over the edges opposed to draining out the bottom of each canister.. Not really a big deal, but sometimes it'll spray out to the sides. Still mot the end of the world. I really like these and plan on ordering another set for the other end of the house.
