I got this to make crimping connectors easier and they are so tight, im not sure how anyone actually gets a 23 gauge wire through them. Better go with CAT6a's unless you are going to be using 24awg cable. **Q: Will this work with non-passthrough rj45 ends?** A: This DOES work with standard (non- pass through) jacks. They probably put that on the packaging so you buy their brand of RJ45s **Q: Do all vdv226-005 have the same issue? not able to remove the connector without using another tool (small screwdriver) to push down the clip?** A: Once the handle is all the way opened, just pull on the cable or push the plug from the other side.
