Just picked up the MEGATEK region-free DVD player and I’m honestly impressed. Setup was super easy right out of the box, and it plays everything I’ve thrown at it without any issues. The region-free feature is a huge plus perfect if you’ve got DVDs from different countries or older collections.Picture quality is surprisingly sharp on my 55” TV, and the upscaling does a solid job making standard DVDs look clean and watchable. It’s also very quiet while running, which I appreciate.The remote is simple and responsive, and overall the player feels reliable and well-built for the price. If you’re tired of streaming limitations or movies disappearing from platforms, this is a great pickup.Definitely worth it especially if you’re getting back into collecting DVDs like I am.

I have a set of DVD's (made in 2001) of Dean Martin's shows that were broadcast on TV in the 1960's. They would not play on an external DVD/CD drive which connects to my laptop. After reading the reviews, I selected this player to directly connect it to my large new HD TV & it worked flawlessly! It appears to be well-made and I couldn't be happier!!

This DVD player was surprisingly much better than I was expecting. Has great features, plays flawlessly, and was not difficult to set up. I’m happy!

Deserves a 5 Star rating, but the lack of Blue-ray compatibility takes off 1 star. Otherwise, an impressive array of features, quality, and durability definitely sets this Megatek player apart from other offerings. Unit performs flawlessly, remote control adds a wealth of additional convenience, and the playback quality is superb! Easy to set up and use right out of the box, with little need for the thorough instructions that are included. Overall pleased with the Megatek CD/DVD player, would recommend!!

Works great! places dvd movies clear and sharp. Plays CD beautifully. It is small in size and has a metal cabinet. Easy to use. We love our MEGATEK cd/dvd player.

This is a really nice DVD player for the price. I am especially happy that it actually plays DVD's from other regions. The picture quality seems to be pretty good & it is not laggy at all. It was very easy to set up & it is nice and compact & doesn't take up too much room

We just reached the year mark for using the Megatek Region Free DVD. For the past year it worked flawlessly. It was easy to set up and the player played DVDs from locations that we could not play in the past.Unfortunately last week the picture went black. Initially I thought it was a HDMI cable issue and I tried another cable but the picture was still black. I then plugged in the composite cables and the picture came back. The quality is not the same as the HDMI.To be fair my mother used this machine for the past year almost everyday and probably 5-6 hours a day. Therefore. I cannot complain about the amount of usage we got for the price we paid.I would recommend this unit and I only gave it a 4 because of the failure of the HDMI plug.

Para la nostalgia y sigue funcionando

I bought this unit from an Australian seller who drop shipped it from the USA so it has a US style plug which is useless for Australian power outlets. Back it goes. Why do sellers do this? It's just incompetent.

Funciona perfeitamente, até o momento já testei para as regiões 1, 4 e All.Faz o upscalling para até 1080p, passando por 480p e 720p. Também pode copiar o DVD para um pen drive como funcionalidade adicional.Até o momento, valendo muito a pena para assistir a DVDs antigos difíceis de achar em streaming.

Ok, to be fair I just plugged everything in and it’s now playing my favourite CD. Tested and works with my USB drive too. So far, so good 🙂 For SGD100 it is doing its job decently, and it is able to do the same in one year’s time I would have gotten my money’s worth 😅 Go for it 👍👍👍

Very good DVD player, easy to use and works perfectly with the TV. The image quality is good and the setup is quick. The only downside is that it doesn’t support Blu-ray, which would have made it perfect.👍 Pros:Easy to useGood picture qualityCompact and practicalQuick setup👎 Cons:No Blu-ray support🎯 Final verdict:A great DVD player that works very well, but keep in mind it does not support Blu-ray.
