This is great! Just moved in to my new place and my anxiety of living alone was kicking in. This has given me some peace when getting ready for bed. I tried turning the knob (from the inside) with the brinks product and the know does not turn. I honestly do recommend it for some peacock of mind. It feels secure!

This product is phenomenal 🩷I live alone and this safety accessory helps to protect my home and gives me a added sense of security 💕also when I travel and stay in hotel, air bnb’s I can bring it with me, and I have. It’s lightweight and strong 👌I highly recommend this for dorms, apartments, homes etc. easy to assemble and very affordable 💞💞💞

These are way sturdier than a popular alternative brand on Amazon that I tried. They were an affordable price as well!

I almost returned this because all the stabalizer pad wanted to do was slide around on the tile floor. My angle of installation wasn't steep enough. It took my husband and I a bit to figure which angle gave us the best resistance. For us, the front of the stablizer pad was 9.5 inches from the bottom of the door. The primary purchase for the bar was to use on our front doors. We have double doors and we used this on the side that doesn't have locking pins built into the door. During Hurricane Milton, the door without locking pins was "breathing" with the wind even with hurricane shuttters up. This will not only give us better daily security for the front doors but it will give us some extra resistance during hurricanes.

It is new, but appears to be very sturdy and it wouldn't let the door move when I tried it. My door handle is high, but it reached it fine with plenty of room to create a proper angle. It is light gray, which I like.

Just as described. Arrived fast and fulfilled what we needed.

edit: this review is for carpeted floors which this can’t slide on due to the grip at least not my apartment standard issue carpet. if you have something silky, this likely doesn’t apply. if not carpet, this may not work so well especially if hardwood floor, linoleum or even tile. due to carpet, a person will have to kick the door down to enter which by then i will hear. For me, this is to ensure no one can get in quietly at night. if they kick down that door, they’ll have to be ready for a fight for their life 😉🔫i purchased this to feel safer each night when i lock up and head to bed.this past week, I hurt my back very badly and was stuck on the floor for a whole day. I called my neighbor for help and we (both females) were discussing how we don’t know if the door would open due to this Brinks door jammer. She told me she admired it and wanted to get one for her house as well. So we both hoped that the Brinks would prove that it worked for my safety (and her future safety) but also hoping it doesn’t cause i’m stuck on the floor lol.well it worked so well. the door opened not even a crack, she was unable to push further. talk about sturdy.i had to bear crawl, scoot my butt on the ground to try and get the bar knocked from under the door. eventually needed the help of EMS and an ER visit.ladies and gentlemen, be warned this product works too well!i think i need to get the “i’ve fallen and can’t get up” button but they’ll still have to break down the door to get meI feel 1000% safer knowing it works but also just a tad bit afraid of how anyone will get to me if something crazy happensbe warned lol

I like these, they are pretty solid and will buy some a couple seconds if someone were to try and break in
