Aveda Brilliant Emollient, 2.55 Fl Oz

I first came across this by accident when my sister-in-law and I were playing with her hair and make-up stuff (because you know that sometimes even the big girls like to play around with it) and I fell in love. It only takes a tiny bit to cover all of your hair (and my hair is down to my tushie) and it feels GLORIOUS. Not to mention it smells really good. Don't know what else I could compare it to for a more clear description, but it is a standard for my grooming routine. A little bit run thru wet hair and your hair dries gorgeous and glossy and soft and yummy. And the price kind of makes me choke until I remember that the bottle will last a few months so it evens out. Totally worth it!! (and p.s. - buying it from amazon means you don't have to hunt for a salon that carries it!)

I see a lot of complaints alluding to this product being fake. I disagree. I have purchased 2 bottles from Health &Beauty Direct 2U. Both smell and feel exactly like my salon purchases. Hair results are also great. I have fine hair with a naturally loose curl that is easily weighed down by the wrong product. Brilliant gives me shine and manageability without weighing down my loose natural curl. Doesn't cause tangles over time like so many other products do that sneak in denatured alcohol in their "moisturizing" products.

Total Aveda lover. I go to an Aveda salon and spa. This product smells terrific and a little goes a long way. Wonderful for your hair

This product is exactly what I wanted in a finishing product. I use it after heat styling to smooth, soften, and add much needed weight to my daughter's fine hair. It leaves her hair shinny and sleek. It can get greasy, so use like one pump at a time. It distributes well through the hair. I only straighten her hair 2 times per year, so this product should last many years! When I run out, I will definitely repurchase. I also highly recommend.

I didn't care for the scent of the product

I love this stuff. I have fine curly/wavy shoulder length hair. I've been using it for over a decade. It smells good. It's not oily, and it makes my hair shine and smell good. It's a little pricey but worth it. It last a long time for me because I don't use it every day and when I do use it, I only use 1 or 2 drops on top of my hair and around my edges after it is styled. It is NOT a gel. I like using it when my hair is up in a bun, straight or naturally curly/wavy for the shine and smell. I'm going to start using it more often.

If you're transitioning from natural styles to something sleek or with more bounce, the Brilliant collection is awesome. I'd forgotten how much I love this product after a few years of using others. Three drops on my super thick texturized 4 b-ish hair and my locks are soft and shiny all day. The scent is fresh and discreet. It's a must have for finishing.

This hair emollient is light weight and makes my hair shiny but not greasy. It also has a wonderful, light fragrance.

je ne sais trop que dire. je l'ai acheté et j'en suis assez contente. mon souci c'est que c'est quand même un peu lourd sur mes cheveux si je veux les tenir bouclés avec mon dyson (fabuleux) . je ne peux en mettre que sur les pointes . attention j'ai les cheveux fins et j'en ai beaucoup (blonde). odeur pas désagréable je m'y suis faite! j'ai toujours peur d'avoir mal à la tête avec des odeurs sur les cheveux mais là rien! le brillant par contre ne dure pas toute la journée. est ce parce que je n'en mets pas assez ou parce que l'environnement dans lequel je travaille est trop poussièreux (je travaille dans une carrière de pierre de taille donc la poussière est omniprésente et cartonne les cheveux ..) avéda reste un très bon produit..

Smells amazing, I would normally never buy this due to the cost but this was temporarily on sale for much less then at the salon. Gives good slip with out weighing my hair down as much as other oils.

I absolutely adore this product, I used to use it when I had relaxed hair. I now have sisterlocks and decided to incorporate it into my regime to help seal in moisture. I don’t use it often, maybe once every couple of weeks or when I’m going out and have styled my locs and you really don’t need a lot. I use one squirt (and I have plenty of hair) to run through my locs to give a brilliant gloss and shine, sealing in the moisture that I’ve put in beforehand. It smells absolutely divine and is so smooth and silky - like liquid gold. If you use too much then it can leave hair lank and greasy, I remember from my relaxer days. It’s light, smells wonderful and doesn’t leave any buildup which is really important for loc wearers. I LOVE this product.

Benutze ich schon ca. 15 Jahre. Die Haare werden weich und seidig, jedoch nicht fettig. Graues strupiges Haar lässt sich gut glätten.
