No .Go to Magnet and ask them for another.

Q: can you switch off the self close action

Not that I am aware of as the self close system is built in to the hinge

Mine fitted well in slots of Shreiber kitchen cabinets I installed 32 years ago. Sorry I do not have Ikea products.
