These type of 12v battery chargers are pretty similar. They utilize a trickle charge (under 2 watts) to keep a battery charged when not in use. They will not revitalize an old battery, and a failing battery will not renew itself. They are best on a healthy battery and work to increase its useful life. They are particularly useful on smaller 12v batteries used in motorcycles, atv, lawn equipment and the like, but work on any 12v battery. What stands out about this unit over similar ones is the customer service. I had a unit fail after 8 months of use. I contacted the company via their email address (found in their manual) and had a response the same day. A new unit was shipped and received within days. A lengthy 12-month warranty period backed with immediate response and care. That is exceptional service.

Product came in a timely fashion, appears to be a good quality and well-made. Several options for hooking up. Digital light comes on when it is charging so far it’s working fine.

Worked great to charge and refresh my trailer battery. The wires are solid, the solar panel seems very sturdy with protective glass cover. Brought back a very close to dead battery. I like that I can easily install on different batteries by just using the clips. Power was solid, no heat issues, very portable.

I got this to keep the battery of my riding lawn mower charged and installed it to the roof of my shed and it does a great job, I added a 6 ft extension wire. BIG YES from me

I’ve used this for just a month and it already has quit working. The led light doesn’t come on anymore, I have put a meter on the leads to test voltage going to my battery and it is nothing. I’m Very disappointed in this product that it ONLY LASTED A MONTH!

Purchased this to replace one I bought years ago. This feels like a quality product and I love how the bright green light shows that it's charging. Pretty easy to install. I just put it on the battery and will give it a couple days to charge. My assumption is that it will work like a dream. I will update if something bad happens, but I'm pretty sure you won't get an update 🙃

This was a re-order because I loved the one that I bought for my son. I also bought the loop connector for him that he connected straight to the battery and permanently hung out by the headlight so it was easier to connect it and unconnected without opening the hood. It is great for that second vehicle that you don't drive as much but you're getting tired of charging up or paying for new batteries.
