I have used the Fellowes laminator several times since it arrived. It's extremely simple to set up and use. It heats up quickly. The greatest feature is that it takes sheets from the very smallest to the large poster size, as well as a variety of pouch thicknesses (3 MIL, 5 MIL, etc.) I maintain a velcro display board for our church's outreach events. I recently printed multiple clip art designs, ran them through the machine in various sized laminating pouches, cut them out and used them on the velcro board for accents. I also did the same with event photos before displaying them. It is a great machine for protecting important documents, instructions, signs, craft projects, and a multitude of home, school, church and office uses. We have the same machine in our church office and it has been serving our needs for several years. Another plus is that it takes up a minimum of space. I'm very pleased.

I bought this machine (Saturn 3i 125) to replace a 14 year old other brand that finally gave out. I had originally ordered one of that same brand, but it had some issues-loud noise and wrinkles. Ordered a replacement of the same make and model and that one, too, had the same wrinkling issue! I decided on this Laminator and it has so far produced results that I have come to expect from a quality machine. It heats up very quickly, is quiet, produces perfect laminations, and is easy to feed. If I was to nit pick, the only thing I could suggest is a slightly longer out feed rack. I have some other Fellowe's products and those have lasted a long time so I would expect this one to do the same.

We needed a laminator machine to use for various things , especially for the Medicare and Social Security cards made of paper. We all know how difficult it can be to replace these valuable items if they get damaged, and this device helps to protect them. This is also good for preserving important documents and cooking recipes, besides those important cards. That variety pack that is recommended is a great buy as well, because of the different things you may need protected, and I highly recommend that as well. This is easy to use, works well and has durability. Does the job quickly, too.

I have been laminating ID cards for clients with two machines for several years. One machine has been in service for 25 years and does a remarkable job of laminating if you can stand the smell so I only used it at work. I bought a Scotch machine for home use. It didn't cost much - but you get what you pay for sometimes in that it took a long time to warm up and frequently had feed issues. I finally purchased this Fellows laminator - love it. It warms up very quickly and the sheets run through perfectly. I've only used this laminator for a few weeks so I felt a four-star review was fitting. If it continues to perform well, I'd be willing to give it five stars.

My 30-year-old GBC Docu-Seal 125 laminator finally died. I only need to laminate items 3-4 times a year so was looking for a home or small office laminator at a reasonable price. After consulting with my new all-knowing best friend, A. I. Software, this was one of the top three recommendations for a replacement. After reviewing all three recommendations I chose this fine Fellowes 12.5' laminator. I have only laminated one 8.5 x 11 item so far in a 3-mil 9 x 11.5 thermal lamination pouch (one of several provided with the laminator) and it worked beautifully. No carrier was required as with the older one. While I received the rectangular white Saturn model shown in the image there is a later gray and silver Saturn 125 model in a more streamlined format.

love it, works great for the price!

Heavy. Does 3 different pouch thickness. I had ordered one and returned it because it was making a noise and was refurbished. I reordered new and it makes the same odd sound. Overall though, aside from the noise, it is a great machine. It seals well. I like the option of 12 in wide sheets. Just a little noisy. I love the size because of the size. I have had this laminator for a year and a half. I purchased July 2021. 2 weeks ago I was using it and I started smelling a burning smell. It sparked, and I can't use it at all. It was in great condition and my go to laminator. I bought this brand specifically because of a fellowes laminator that I found at a yard sale-probably 15 years old. That one took longer to warm up, but still works to this day! I knew I would be impressed with an updated model. I had one at school and one at home. Now I am sad that it looks new, and I can't use it. It smells like melted hard plastic from the inside. I opened all the windows at school. I seriously thought the water was going to come out of the ceiling on a Sunday!

Really pleased with this purchase. I have had a GBC laminator for about 18 years but it finally quit. The Fellows laminators received good reviews so decided to purchase. I was not disappointed. My old laminator took forever to heat up and I had to use a paper sleeve to put the laminator pouch in before putting it through the machine. Not so with my new machine. It heats up really fast, has 4 settings and can accommodate several sizes of documents. It is compact in size, light weight and has automatic shutoff.. I only use at home so can’t comment on how well it performs in an office setting but would highly recommend it for the home user.

I've only used this laminator about 10 times since purchasing; but it's worked flawlessly with 3 mil pouches each time. It takes about a minute to come up to temperature and a LONG time (30+ minutes) to cool down, but it works perfectly and does a great job sealing things.

After having a string of bad luck with laminators jamming and breaking completely (new pouches put through would just 'curl up' and get trapped in the chassis of the laminator), this one apparently pulls through for our company! We actually had it jam up today, which required me to flip it over and unscrew the screws from the bottom. Once the case was loosed a bit, I was able to pull it up and away enough to pull out a stuck/crumpled laminating page (I suspect the user put the heat setting too high, putting a 3 mil pouch through at a 4 or 5 mil heat setting). Flipped the laminator back over, re-fastened it with the screws, set it upright again, and turned it on. I ran a 'laminating cleaning' sheet through it, and it went through just fine! Looks like I won't have to return this one. 😊
