Can't go wrong with Kato.
I don't have a permanent layout. I set up my trains a few times a year. I had been using Bachmann EZ track, which I like in Ho scale. Not so much in N scale. I switched to Kato for N scale, and then just decided I might as well switch to Kato for Ho scale too. You really can't go wrong with this track. It's very well make and is easy to connect and disconnect. Works well on any type of floor. It is somewhat expensive, but if you take care of it it should last a very long time.

楕円形のレイアウトですが、あと直線2本ずつでカーブ部分が部屋の角に行くので購入しました。 4本セットで丁度良かったです。部屋の中程をカーブが横切っていたのが角になり走行距離も延びて良かったです。レールは安いですが、車両が高価なHOゲージ！ でもNには無い事が一つあります！ モーター音が静かですので、ガタンゴトン、ガタンゴトンのレールの継ぎ目の音が心地よく聞こえます。継ぎ目は等間隔でたくさんあった方が良いですね！
