I have had the modem for several months with no problems and would recommend it. When something happened to my Internet connection, I found that unplugging the modem adapter, waiting several seconds, and then replugging it returned operation to normal. "I don't know, ask the manufacturer" is dumb to put in a public forum, and especially when all of the information is listed below. This modem should be compatible with Verizon's DSL service, but it does not have wireless. This will get 1 device connected via Ethernet, without another switch or router in the mix. (I would purchase a different device if you need WiFi) **Q: Does ot work with windstream dsl** A: I contacted Wendy @ Windstream and she said "It may be possible to use an existing Windstream modem or a modem/router that has worked on another DSL provider's network. Please note that Windstream technical support cannot provide configuration or troubleshooting assistance on non-Windstream equipment. To check existing modem compatibility, contact a customer service representative.
