I’ve tried to separate with scissors and wire cutters without success. How are they separated? Thank you.** A: I gently moved the connected dies back and forth until they separated. Some of the small metal pieces that hold the dies together fell off and others were removed with tweezers. **Q: Is this die pack compatible with big kick** A: Almost every die works with every machine. You just have to experiment with more or less shims. I have ordered all sorts of dies, they all work differently. depends on the weight of the card stock or what ever your cutting, and your shims. **Q: One of the comments stated that the stitching didnt show up on the rectangles. Anyone else have that issue?** A: the stitching looks great on the rectangle I used. Try a thicker card or I tried the dryer sheet trick where you place a dryer piece on the cut. I was very happy with the simpler die cuts, but the more complex hearts proved troublesome because they have 'dull' areas that will not make a complete cut through the paper. I was working with standard craft paper, nothing special, and a manual die cutting machine, per the instructions. Some parts of the design cut cleanly and others almost cut through but the tighter and more complex areas refused to cut, simply embossing the paper instead.
