We ordered the first desk from another retailer, it came in a banged up box and the insides were a mess. Two of the largest pieces were cracked in half. We decided after dealing with the other retailer's less than adequate customer service, we would order from Amazon. We did and it came in a torn up box that when we opened it, it looked like a bomb had gone off. It was damaged to the point it was unusable. We ordered the replacement and it too was damaged. Amazon took care of us after it was all said and done but the packaging from China is terrible. The manufacturer really needs to improve the packaging and make it more secure and substantial.If it wasn't for the packaging and the damaged desks, I would give this product 5 stars. After checking around different places, we saw this one and the reviews and decided to try it out. First of all, it was beyond easy to put together. No tools at all, it was just a big jigsaw puzzle. It's made of hard plastic so you don't have to worry about it cracking and falling apart like those fake wood ones. There is only one thing I don't like about it, the little basket it comes with, the wheels don't stay on, they keep falling off if you pick the basket up.
