Then I came out and noticed that the first issue was that the collapsible frame buckled and no longer was holding up the frame. It was literally slammed down on my hood. Had it hailed this thing would have been totally ineffective. I assume it was the wind that caused it to buckle, which was later confirmed when the wind (not even that heavy a wind) caught it ripped it completely off my truck and cracked the framework that holds the canopy that protects the vehicle. So this investment ended up being a total bust. I bought this one because a invested in a different brand and it did the same thing. This product and design is not at all what it advertises. I have resorted to an improvised tent pole set up that I configured to be able to be able to put up and take down quickly. But I will never buy one of these type of quick set up deals...the design material is not at all as strong as it seems. A least not strong enough for the winds where I live.
