Super quiet after installing ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Did not fit and started grinding in less than 3 months *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2023* as the headline says and some other reviews mentioned the fan's casing is not the same shape as the original fan for the gs65 meaning that if you want to use it you have to cut off a portion of the casing partially compromising the performance of the cooling system as some of the exhausted heat will be blown back on the motherboard.In addition I bought this fan on may 19th after the original had completely stopped working, but as of July 1st (less than 3 months later) began hearing a grinding and unnatural whining sound on startup similar to what the original began doing before it stopped working.The final problem I have with this replacement is that it is a lower RPM fan than the original meaning that the thermal performance was even lower compounding with the above issues with thermals as a result of the required modifications to even use the fan. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Solid replacement fan *by D***L on Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2020* The replacement fan is a good but not perfect fit in place of the stock fan. That said, the fitment is still decent. However, once installed, it became noticeably quieter than the CPU fan, which was not replaced at the same time. Now even under full load, the GS65 stays relatively quiet. Too bad the unit did not include any replacement black tape that covers the fan and the exhaust fins.
