So I ordered 240 pounds of soil while my compost is ... uh...composting. Anywho, the order was short 2 bags, but I was busy and hadn't noticed yet. Don't judge, that's a lot of bags of soil to keep track of! So the company messages me a couple days later and says "hey, two bags of soil are delayed in transit (carrier lost 'em) - we're working on it, we'll get back with you". And they did because ain't nobody finding that lost soil ever I think. They sent out two more bags to replace the lost ones and my plants have been rejoicing ever since. Great company and my plants seem to love the soil. Give them a try, I bet you'll like it. Review: Price and quality - Yes my package arrived on time. It was well protected by putting inside a box. Great quality and fantastic price , was so happy. Thank You ## Features - Versatile Potting Soil: Let your plants grow healthy and strong with this general-purpose potting soil featuring a blended formula that works for all kinds of greens you plant in it - Indoor and Outdoor Use: Whether in flower pots, raised garden beds, or other planters in and out of your house, this organic potting soil can maintain optimal use anytime, anywhere at home - Moisture Retention: Garden soil designed to retain sufficient moisture to sustain active plant growth during moderate dry spells and other dry periods that would harm your plants’ growth - Blended for Growth: Features a dark blend of reed sedge peat, organic peat moss, and other materials to support plant growth while firmly rooted in this succulent soil - Bag Specifications: Dimensions: 3.50”L x 21.50”W x 15.30”H; Weight: 20 lbs; Upon receiving the package, indoor potting soil is ready to use out of the bag with zero additional mixing ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B008JSKCFI | | Best Sellers Rank | #14,804 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #189 in Garden Soil | | Brand | Garden Magic | | Brand Name | Garden Magic | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 2,084 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00028009157204 | | Included Components | Michigan Peat - 5720 - 20lb | | Item Type Name | Michigan Peat - 5720 - 20lb | | Item Weight | 20 pounds | | Manufacturer | Michigan Peat | | Manufacturer Part Number | Michigan Peat - 5720 - 20lb | | Model Number | Michigan Peat - 5720 - 20lb | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Style | Garden,Potting | | Style Name | Garden,Potting | | UPC | 028009157204 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Volume | 20 liters | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Garden Magic - **Style:** Garden,Potting - **Item Weight:** 16 ounces - **UPC:** 028009157204 - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00028009157204 ## Images ![Funsicle QuickSet 12' x 36" Round Above Ground Swimming Pool with Pump - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/818N3OnV3EL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this guaranteed gnat free!?!** A: I have a huge gnat problem now thanks to this soil… **Q: do i need to add perlite to this to grow tomato in a container?** A: I dont know what that is, but I gave this to the small and large plants (in pots) and they love it **Q: The bag in picture is 50 lb. Is it safe to assume this is just a depiction of what your 20 lb bag looks like?** A: Pretty mush the same also IThis product was way overpriced. I went to lowes and purchased 3 64quarts bags of peat for 35.00. That was $16.00 less and 80lbs more product **Q: I need a good rich soil for growing ginger in a pot in the house. Would this fit the bill?** A: I mixed it with garden soil 50/50 for an outside tire pot that has sweet potatoes and ginger growing in it. I think it would be just fine alone for indoor growing of ginger. I will be digging up my ginger and using it alone myself to over-winter in the house. I hope that helps. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product and customer service *by W***D on September 8, 2026* I finally retired and am enjoying my long-awaited foray into gardening.
