Perfect for automatic pet watering system
I searched for a long time thru hundreds of brass barb fittings to find these but I'm super glad I did. These were perfect for the automatic watering system I was building for my rabbitry. I used these with 1/2" npt pvc fittings to go from 3/4" pvc to a 5/16 inner diameter hose that would ultimately go to a rabbit water nipple. I didn't need a brass fitting for a gravity feed watering system. That would have been overkill. These threaded in perfect and were excellent quality. I used fastape pipe tape and wrapped it around 4 and a half wraps and zero leaks. Would highly recommend and would buy again.

g1/2 is the length of the barb not the width of the threading!!
i suppose this one is on me for not knowing nomenclature here, the threading is 3/4" package arrived quickly and manufacturing on these seems good with sharp threads and minimal flash from injection molding

Work well with some adjustment
I need to convert the Mini split condensation line to a 3/4 sch 40 PVC pipe for a long 20 ft horizonal run and it do it well. The mini split was installed on a interior wall, so external wall drainage wasn't possible. The factory condensation line was little of the issue, you just have cut the area with wider mouth to fit the 5/8 in barb and using a hose clamp to really sealed it from leaking. Next you get a 3/4 female S x FPT Adapter and finally to a 3/4 PVC pipe
