Used this off an 8 ft A Frame ladder and problem solved. It can actually be too big sometimes. I didn't think my electric pressure washer would work with this (2200 psi) but it did. Yes it's a little awkward to hold since it's so long. It actually makes it easier to clean since you start on one side and the momentum of this carries it to the other. So instead of actually holding it and moving left to right, you "swing" it from left to right, again depending on the length. Will use the curved one later for the gutters. Can reach most from the ground because of this. Worth it. Review: Good for high to reach places, but take it slow - This was easy to set up. After about an hour of use, your arms will get tired so you need to take breaks while using this. This was nice because I didn’t have to climb up a large 2 story ladder to pressure wash the top of my 2 story house. It did almost reach the peak of my house as I am only 5 foot 10 and used a 6 foot ladder in addition to this device. I was about 2 1/2 feet short for meeting the tallest peak of my house. My only concern is the support of this device. When I used it and push the handle on the gun the metal rods were swaying due to the amount of pressure coming from the gun which is about 3200 psi. I needed to pressure wash my screen enclosure and some areas I could not reach with a ladder. This did the trick. It flexes a little and a little hard to hold but did what I needed it to do. The parts seem well made, everything went together easily and there were no leaks. One section connects with a standard quick connect connection and then you can put each 16 inch section together to make it as long as 8 feet.
