Great blankets at a Great price! Good waterproof barrier or emergency “poncho” These emergency blankets are packaged to be extremely small and lightweight, perfect to add to any backpacker or hikers pack! They are definitely noisy as they are made of a crinkly thin foil. I use one to line the floor inside of my tent and I am always shocked at the difference it makes in retaining heat!

I just recieved 4 packages of these blankets for a total of 40 blankets. Besides putting some in our vehicles and bug-out bags for emergencies, I also tacked a few up inside, blocking the radiant heat from very hot windows. I also have used 4 of them, leaving them folded up lengthwise, to wrap around the exhaust hose on the Portable Air Conditioner (PAC) in my bedroom. That exhaust hose gets so hot that is was actually putting heat back into my room and making my PAC run longer. Since adding the blankets, it has really helped in my bedroom. There have been absolutely no problems with any of these blankets that I have used out of their packages so far. Yes, they are thin, BUT they are just the same thinness and quality as many of the other inexpensive Mylar Emergency Blankets. Matter of fact, I think these are even a bit better in quality than some I paid a more for from REI. I like these Primacare HB-10 Blankets so much I'm ordering more packages to have on hand for friends and people who may be in need. Excellent price at $7.20 a 10 pack from Elite Online Supplies. Having extras also offers 1000's of creative opportunities! BTW, in summer, I take an ice chest in my vehicle to put frozen and cold groceries when I shop. I use one of these blankets to then cover the chest and any bagged groceries to keep everything cooler on my way back home. I LOVE these things!

Good to keep a couple in each vehicle and your bug-out bag. Great value.

We bought a large pack of these mylar blankets to cover our windows during the summer during extremely hot & sunny days. We carefully measured our sunniest windows and sliding glass doors, then used duct tape to adhere them together for a double cover. You can still see through the double thickness during sunny days, but these definitely kept heat out and our rooms about 10 degrees cooler than the outside. They rip very easily, but we were able to carefully roll them up at night and tie them to top so we could easily unroll them each day we needed them. It wasn't attractive to look at the rolled-up blankets afixed to the top of the window each evening or non-sunny day, but hey - sacrifices need to be made, so we're glad we had these mylar blanket. We're already working on an improved plan for next summer so they rip even less.

I use these while kayaking all the time. Great for cold or sun. Have used them for shade as well as for keeping dry.

Used them for some stray cat shelters and they held up great! They’re a pretty decent size as well. They’re also very compact so they could be packed very easily. They’re very strong so they’d be good for really any application.

Purchased these in preparation for the ice storm that blew through Texas last week. They worked great over the windows and we had some extra in case we needed them if the grid failed. The house stayed very warm and we barely needed the heater.

I started my plants in February under grow lights. I used the Mylar to surround my plants and make a little tent. It kept my plants warm from the lights and it reflected the light back at the plants so I feel it added strength to the grow lights properties. Excellent product. Great value.
