Placed this item in a room where I allow vaping. If you don't know, vaping is different from cigarette smoke but it still carries an odor. So I allow vaping in one room of the house. I opened this up and placed it in the room with the door open and the odor was gone within a weekend. Not sure if it was one day or two but we left for the weekend and no one was at the house. Ordering more for different areas of the house that tend to get musty...it's an old but refurbished lovely home. Love it!

My mother moved in with me for a year when COVID started. She would smoke in the house when I was at work. Shortly after she moved out I put my house on the market. Showings commented about a smoke smell in the house. I tried everything. Eventually I steam cleaned the walls, changed the AC filters and cleaned every light bulb. I couldn't smell the smoke but it was because during showings the realtor turns on all the lights. If there is nicotine on the light the heat from the bulb will make the smell stronger. I don't have all my lights on all the time so I couldn't smell if my efforts were working. Anyway, I bought several of these odor absorbing gels and this one seemed to work the best along with Bad Air Sponge. The nice thing about this one is you can remove the label and it looks like any other air freshener. After cleaning the nicotine these odor absorbers helped maintain the fresh smell in the house without being perfumey.

I bought these to reduce odor in my bathroom and near my guinea pigs’ cage. In the bathroom, it’s worked pretty well! No unpleasant smells remain. My guinea pigs are unfortunately too stinky for anything to work on them for long. It did help for the first week or so, but after two months, only the bathroom one is still working great.

It takes too long for the product to absorb the odors.

My house is 60 yrs old. These air fresheners really work. And there's no fire hazzard like those parfume electric "plug-in" things. I will buy more.

Works well. Not heavily scented or fragranced which is great, just helps remove the bad odors. I set it up next to my cat litter boxes, there is definite improvement to how it smells.

My son's room was very musty due to dirty a/c filter. Put 2 of these in hid 9x11 foot room and 1 week later, no difference in odor. The product in jar has not changed appearance either.
