My wife’s phone wouldn’t hold a charge worth beans. So I looked, not only for a new battery, but also an upgrade on capacity. I found this one, which came with every tool needed to make the switch. My wife is so happy to a have a lasting battery again! And it’s so much less expensive than buying a whole new iPhone, even a used one! Instructions were easy to follow, and with careful work, I had it done in a timely manner.

This package has all the very small and delicate tools needed to replace the battery in an iPhone. The video instructions were absolutely necessary and very good. The hardest part was getting the back of the phone case off as a first step. After that, patience, a steady hand and a clean large workspace (so if a tiny screw drops it will not get lost) are all it takes. Much less costly than taking it to Apple. The battery itself works just like new.

Battery was well packed, tools are adequate, two way glue tape worked well, I did not use the suction cup, instead I used a razor blade not included. Screws are real small so they are easily lost, as someone said, they should include a couple of them, and not include the unnecessary sim remover. Alignment of the battery connector can be an issue if the placement of the battery is not perfect. The glue around the edge is a bit difficult to remove and put back. If you have a slight tremble this is not an easy battery replacement because of the size of the screws. The removal of the battery was not easy, I used a blow drier to loosen the glue but there are other methods to accomplish the same thing. I was disappointed on the 1st charge, I thought the battery would have lasted longer than 24 hours. Please note that since this is not an OEM battery, when you check the health of it, it will show an error, with OS 18.1 or higher, it is better but not a total fix, however. This does not effect the operation of the battery. When you open the top, make sure not to extend the wires between the top and the bottom, use a cup to hold the top on a 90 degrees position as you remove the wires. Before doing the repair, check some YouTube. This battery is a 1-1 swap, no solder is needed. Sorry for the long review, I am a tech by profession.

Bought this more than once. Teenagers! But it's so easy and everything comes with it that you need. They can even do it themselves!!

Update: Reduced to one star. Batter started swelling in less than 5 months. Worked reasonably well until it swelled enough to pop the case open. Junk battery. :-) The battery worked out fine once I got it installed. Takes a charge and reports OK in Settings. I'll do a battery test over the next day or two and update this review if I find anything notable. Installation is a pain on every iPhone i've ever done it on. If you don't have loads of patience, excellent eyes, and steady hands, just pay the $80 to have it done it at the Apple Store. I'm taking off one star becasue this battery did not come with the proper-sized standard screwdriver bit to remove and reinstall the standoff screw on the corner of the speaker. Make sure to have a set of small, precision screwdrivers handy before you start disassembling your phone. It had everything else needed, including a new waterproof seal. Have some isopropyl alcohol on hand; you'll need it to clean off the old seal and possibly to help with battery adhesive removal. Overall, I'm quite happy with this replacement battery. Upgrading the capacity to 50% more than the original battery will be helpful!

Watch a disassembly video first! It will help immensely. The battery is easy to replace, but I don’t feel this battery seemed to add a whole lot more life than my OEM which was at 80% capacity. It does last a little longer, but since the phone cant recognize it I really don’t think it fully benefits from changing it out. The hardest part of any work on the iPhone is knowing the order to remove and replace the layers of the phone. DO NOT mix up the screws. They look very similar but will not fit in the hole next to where it came most of the time. I bought a screw kit so that I had extras after losing a few into the abyss that is the carpet.

This was amazing usually I have to get my own tools but this kit was incredible my phone now works great and is just crazy
