Awesome product
I don't do reviews very often, but this is a remarkable product. I don't know how I've been a mechanic for 35 years and have not had these. I got these for the rusted valve cover bolts on a 5.4 Triton. They performed flawlessly, beat them on, and take the bolt out. It's that simple, top notch quality. Worth every cent if you live in the rust belt. Don't go with the Chinese one, they're junk. These are American made, and they work and feel like it.

After 6 Months of Ownership: This Tool Turns A Major Crisis Into A Minor Inconvenience
Every once in a while you buy a tool that is just a pleasure to use, this is one of those tools. One of those tools that you don't need very often but always shine when put into use. Rocket Sockets have to be the most reliable and convenient way to remove rusted/rounded off bolts. Thank you Project Farm! Living in the Northeast without a garage, I've had plenty of battles with corroded bolts on vehicles. My go-to solutions were usually penetrating oil, an acetylene torch & a very good pair of locking pliers. It usually gets the job done...eventually. Then I saw these Rocket Sockets on Project Farm (he's an excellent Youtuber if you're unfamiliar). I figured I would give them a whirl while rebuilding the front suspension of my 2007 Toyota Prius. Fortunately, I only ran into a couple rounded bolts. Without any penetrating oil or heat, I just tapped an appropriately sized Rocket Socket onto the rounded fastener & blasted them right off with an impact wrench. It was surprisingly easy. The sockets also have great longevity. They wouldn't be very useful if they "died a hero" every time they were put into action. I later used a Rocket Socket to remove rounded bolts from my pool pump mount. Most recently, they impressed me so much, it prompted me to write this review. I used Rocket Sockets to remove the notoriously disintegrated exhaust flange bolts under my '07 Prius. They were so corroded I didn't even bother trying a traditional socket. I believe they are 14mm bolts from the factory but had deteriorated to around 10mm. Access wasn't great on a creeper in my driveway but using about 2ft worth of extensions I was able to barely tap the Rocket Sockets onto the bolts. I wasn't even sure they were on the bolts securely enough to work, but they held on & whipped the bolts loose after 3 seconds with a 1/2" impact wrench. I audibly muttered, "I can't believe that just worked." to myself under the car. TLDR: Rocket Sockets are incredibly well engineered & constructed of equally excellent materials. I would use them over any other method to remove rounded & corroded bolts.

Great product
Got the impossible oil drain bolt cap off when nothing else could. Tried sockets, 6 sided wrench, a pipe wrench (adding to the bolt’s destruction), and finally this. Had to use a big cheater bar and the extractor socket didn’t slip at all before popping the frozen bolt loose. Couldn’t be happier! Plus, it’s made in the USA!

OIL PAN PLUG REMOVAL.
The socket worked great and was very easy to put over stripped oil pan drain plug.

A no nonsense, immediately results tool!
As you can see in the first two pictures, this triple square bolt stripped pretty bad inside. What you can also see is that it is no longer bolted to anything. It took me only two tries, but the bolt came off in less than sixty seconds total and I replaced right away. I tried a few other methods like hammering-in a larger socket, locking pliers, and even my Knipex dual grip pliers, but the outside of the bolt's head is already as round as it can be. Aside from the ease of use and efficiency, these socket are pretty sturdy. The last two pictures show how the 10mm socket I used still looks like brand new after serving its purpose. Another solid recommendation from Project Farm!

Nice Set
I had a seized bleeder screw but nothing will get it out. I'm sure this is a great tool but it did not work for what I needed.

Removed header studs like a boss
Replaced my headers and everything was tight but I made it happen. As usual I left 6-7 studs. I don't have a shop, nap on extractors or a torch set so I ventured out. I have spent more money on trying to remove these studs on products from name brand companies that fail at grabbing or fail at realizing they advertise for tight spots and I don't really think they know what a tight spot is. Not to pound other extractors, names, etc. It just gets old ordering stuff that may be good for one person then it is another. But I saw this little blue kit. Almost reminds of an infomercial, and we all know where that goes but after 3-4 extractor kits, tools and map gas. I decided to give the made in the USA a shot. I gotta say, they did the job first time. I removed long studs so I did put some vice grips closer to the head to turn with the socket because that is alot of leverage to snap and it worked perfect. I used the 10mm on the 10m x 1.25 stud and it fit snug at tip but just a couple small taps puts it on. All I can say is don't pay attention to the price, the feel of an infomercial, these things are the real deal and I have used gears with wrenches in them but no luck. Save your time, ordering, headaches, hard work, pay an extra $20 and get it done. I learned my lesson. and this is not sponsored. I never leave reviews because we usually all know what we are getting. but I had to say this company and sockets are top notch.

Worth its weight in gold after one use
I knew these are the best in the business, but I was still worried it might not work. I had six T-30 head fastners to remove from my 2000 XJR Transmission pan. Don't get me started on the choice of the engineers to use torx heads for the application in the first place. Thankfully, 5 out of 6 came out even though my Torx bit was on the verge of bending nearly to the point of snapping. On the stubborn one, I wasn't so lucky. Even after spraying it with liquid wrench, letting it sit overnight and spraying some more, I had two Torx bits snap, the second one snapping flush inside the fastner. Great, time for plan B. Order this set. Was able to find a new replacement bolt thanks to this same trans being used on Mercs from the same time. Hammered the 10mm socket on, tried to turn it, hammered so more, turned and repeated a few more times until it finally broke the bolt loose. I couldn't belive it. I added that bolt to my now collection of two bolts that thought they could beat me as a reminder to my cars to behave when I'm working on them
