Review: Killer workout - This bag is an absolute b******d of a beast. It is, by far, the best item I've ever used for working out. I've been going to the gym for years and have various weights and equipment at home. I've used it all and whilst there are benefits and uses for free weights, cable machines etc nothing compares to this bag. I can do overhead tricep curls with a 25kg plate all day long but with this bag, with 10kg of sand in one filler bag and 10kg of pea shingle in another it is way more difficult. Part of it is due to having to grip the bag with your fingers and the other is the difficulty in dealing with the shifting weight. In the couple of weeks I have been using this bag my workouts have been a lot harder and intense. 30 mins doing some basic exercises with this bag is far more effective than an hour with fixed weights, the cardio load is bigger and I can already feel the improvements in my strength and muscle development. Yes, my knuckles have bled, my fingers have become sore and stiff but if you're after a brutal workout this is the bag for you. I also have some of the more solid powerbags with handles but this bag works in a different way and is way more effective. The stitching on the handles of the powerbags has come apart in places but there's no risk of that with this bag. The material is very tough and it's taking a lot of bashing and slamming on rough patio slabs. The filler bags are double sealed with very secure velcro and so far there's no sand leakage. For the price this is one of the best pieces of equipment you can buy. Due to no handles it difficult to lift anyway, you really feel it on your fingers and grip, of which, you get plenty of benefits. Overall it’s a great, heavy bag. Really rugged material, strong zip, with a thoughtful design so the zip is concealed and won’t snag on you or your clothes 2. Three “inner bags”, 2 of equal size, one about half the size of the others. The idea is to fill the inner bags, then stick them in the outer bag, and that’s it. The bags are well designed, with a double Velcro system with fold over. I’ve filled them with sharp sand and no leakage after throwing them around quite a bit.
