Icannto more highly recommend this action cam. I have used an sj4000 for a number of years and while that is great, it's just gone beyond its use. So I looked at many options, reviews etc and for the price (at £60 off list), it's a steal! This camera shoots in 4k, 2.7k but I was more interested in 1080 at 60fps for vlogging on a motorcycle. This cam does this with great ease! I also had a go at attaching it to my sons bike on our bike ride.. And it was pretty wobbly because of the bumps but quality of the footage and sound was brilliant, (I'd suggest another way of mounting it though.. Maybe a helmet) It has a micro USB input for charging and I think you can use it for a microphone.. Haven't tried that yet! All in all, fantastic value for money.

Great little device at a fraction of the price to some of its competitor offerings. I tend to use the camera for extra B-roll content to enrich my main footage in 4K! Variety of mounts and two batteries! Device operation working through the on screen menus is logically set out and took me 5 minutes to fathom without reading the instructions. Comes retail display quality packed, which really shows the device off in its tiny (cool) form factor splendour and would make a lovely gift.

The product arrived in time, packaging is great, it has a lot of accessories to mount the camera anywhere. It's quite good quality and a nice price. the camera is easy to use, easy to start recording and the interface is simple and fast when connecting to the PC.

For the price this is perfect, does what it says, and my 11year old loves it. Takes it into the sea and the pool. Picture quality and video quality are ok - good. Haven't really tested the remote as it says not to use in the water, and isn't too comfortable to wear. Bit of a problem connecting to the app, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't which is more of a hindrance to me... a good starter.

I I tested this side by side on 2.7k 60 fps (I prefer to shoot in this than 4k for tests.) The dog in the image is running and i just dig a screen capture on pause. As you can see the ThiEYE is a great quality and while one of the other cameras is super wide so looks smaller the image is so close in quality and for me this says it all regards to the quality of the cameras compared to price (its hard to get the white balance right. As for lower price action cameras the ThiEYE certainly give the top end market a run for its money. I asked friends on Facebook to vote on each image and out of 41 votes is was 20 to 21 on first 2 images. (i did not name the cameras) If you are looking for a good all round camera for a smaller price the ThiEYE is the one. Their new camera iis reported to be even better and runs live video!!

Great camera for the price. I wanted it for messing about while open water swimming does the job and not too worried about anything going wrong. Had a problem with the app contacted the support team they were great and after a few attempts got things sorted.

Had this a few days, so far easy to use, have been recording video and time-lapse image capture. Comes with loads of accessories including: spare battery, remote control, waterproof case (not tested which is why I gave it 3 stars), handlebar and helmet mounts... I was really impressed! This is my first action camera so have nothing to compare it to but at the price I think it's brilliant. I may invest in more so I can set up multi angle recording. The only negative so far is that I can't connect it via ThiEye app to my android phone.

the main thing that has let me down with this product is that the "water proof" case has leaked on its first and last time snorkling the main reason i brought this camera was to take underwater pictures while scuba and snorkeling but have been left disappointed due to the leaking lens cover then led to blurred images but its under water expedition have been halted as for the app to connect with so called wifi there really is no point having a app connecting it in the first place well well that never but on the off chance you did the app would crash rather disappointed to say the least £43 down the drain now saving up for a go pro instead
