Plain rice has many fine uses, but it can get boring. Adding a quarter cup of (uncooked) Sukoyaka 8 Grain Mix to one cup (uncooked) white rice, two cups plus a bit more (READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE PACKAGE!) water, a half teaspoon or so of salt, results in a delightful starch, nice taste, pleasant texture. Works perfectly in a rice cooker.
