Great battery for small motorcycle or scooter

It was described as a lithium replacement for my lead acid battery. This battery replaces an old worn out unit that goes in my Chamberlain Wi-Fi garage door opener model b970. It was very easy to install and I'm hoping it lasts as long as they're saying it should for as many cycles more than a lead acid battery in a temperate zone that can be -30° and 110° Price was competitive and is designed to last longer than a lead acid battery. So far we recommend this product

Chrome Battery has become my go to source for motorcycle batteries, and since I own a stable of 18 bikes, this is very important. Not only do they have the best prices and fastest service around, their products are of the highest quality and dependability that I have been able to find on Amazon or EBay. This is a truly sealed battery (many other AGM batteries have tiny vent ports on the top of them, preventing anything but upright mounting). It fit perfectly in my Yamaha Vino 125, came fully charged, and has a very trick LCD readout on voltage state, allowing for easy troubleshooting right on the bike (although in many cases it will be difficult to read when mounted). Their customer service follows up on every purchase, although I have not needed them yet. Highly recommend.

I bought one of these 4 years ago and got about 16 months of use out of it. I use it in a 150cc scooter and it does a good job when it holds a charge. I ride the scooter to work during the warmer months (April-September) and take the battery out when I'm done for the season and store it in the house. I purchased a new battery in June 2020 to replace the old one. When I went to put it back in last weekend I put it on a charger for a couple of hours to bring the charge back up. ( The digital display read about 9.5 volts before charging) It won't hold a charge to turn the starter over. When I kick start the scooter the digital display reads 13.2 volts but it won't hold the charge. I had hoped to get at least another season out of it but that's not gonna happen. So the bottom line is I got 4 months use out of this battery. The warranty says 18 months but there is no contact information to go to. I'll be sure to bookmark this little piece of crap to avoid getting fleeced again.

Good small engine batteries at a decent price. They don't really last any longer or less than any other brands at any price. Good for 2 maybe 3 years at most. Always had decent luck with chrome brand batteries. Good fit and east to install.

If you have any doubts about this battery, dont. I am using it on my daughters 4 wheeler and it is excellent. One weird thing with the battery is it stays over 13v, which is fine I guess just cranks faster. The display works good although the "day counter" doesn't work for me, but all I was interested in was it showing volts anyway. I cannot comment on the low volt alarm as I haven't gotten the battery low enough yet. I have gone through a few batteries on my machines and I will say that from now on before I purchase a battery I will look to see if chrome battery has a battery for the application.

The battery arrived in one piece but unfortunately it doesn't work. This doesn't say much about the quality of the product. The customer service was great and efficient and I was able to easily request a replacement through their automated system after speaking to a person. I'll update this review if a working replacement arrives, but I'm not happy that a brand new battery arrived faulty. It should have been tested better. The battery is only in its own box, which is the size of the battery. If somehow it was damaged in transit, its not evident as the box was fine. Would have been better double boxed like most other items I receive. If something happened internally during transit, this doesn't make me feel comfortable having a product of this quality inside my Motorcycle getting bumped and shaken. UPDATE: My replacement arrived within a few days and everything works great. Great Battery that so far is tarting our scooter without fail. If I have any issues, I'll be sure to update this review.

While it's the same YTX7A-BS, size, voltage, and amp of the Yuasa battery I'm replacing, this battery feels lighter. I'm not sure if that means anything. This was probably the easiest battery I've ever installed because the screws are long enough to grab the bolt even through the terminal cables and battery tender wires. The LCD display is a really nice feature to have and worth the extra 5-6 bucks. Fresh out of the box the display read 13.02 V and a fully charged battery indicator, like the one on your phone. I installed it and my bike started right up. Voltage dropped to 12.67V and started a climb back up to 12.80 V before I put the cover on. Having that dedicated meter running diagnostics on the battery is reassuring.
