This 3-in-1 convertible laptop backpack is everything I needed in a travel and work bag. I am overall pleased with this bag. Not as pleased with the chemical odor. What I like: 1. It has lots and lots of pockets and compartments for things. 2. The inside of the bag is not that junk slippery nylon that other bags are made with. The material is soft and velvet like. It is not only pleasant to the touch, it helps keep things from sliding around and acts to cushion electronic devices. 3. It's big... bigger than I thought. I hope it won't be too heavy for me once it's full of my things, but I'd rather have the room than not. 4. It's very nice looking! 5. Love that it can be carried as a backpack, briefcase, or shoulder bag. What I don't like: 1. It does have a detectable chemical odor, probably formaldehyde or other chemicals to make it waterproof or pesticide gassing during shipping. It seems to be mostly on the outside, so for now I am airing it out and hope I will be able to wipe it down and use it soon. I don't want to risk washing it as it is too nice. Nor do I want to put anything inside and contaminate my things. I'd rather not have waterproofing than deal with chemical contamination. It's not as bad as some products, so I am keeping it and hoping the sun does a good job oxidizing the chemicals.

I bought this bag a while ago - this is sturdy bag. It holds everything i need with a ton of room to spare. My laptop is large and it fits in there without issue. Still looks brand new.

The fact that I can carry this bag three different ways put it above others I was looking at. But I didn't realize just how much space there is for all the things! It's made of a sturdy canvas (i.e. it is heavier than any nylon type material), the strap rings and hooks seem quite sturdy, laptop sleeve is decently padded, has an internal water bottle spot, and overall has a nice, slightly rugged look that's more professional than a backpack or slouchy messenger bag.

This bag is durable. If you’re a pocket-lover, this bag is for you. You are able to organize all of your belongings. Definitely worth the price. It is made of good quality and I love the versatility of the straps. Also can be used for work, travel or personal travels, very spacious and holds a 17’ laptop!
