Hikari Saki Growth 33lb

I have a large pond with a lot of big Koi. When I got them, they were tiny, feeding this to them for a year, my Koi grew exponentially. I am guilty of over feeding, but some of my Koi grew 16 inches and one summer. The results spoke for themselves. I use about 20 bags of this a season. They are some hungry little buggers.

We have had our pond in San Diego for nearly 6 years now. We have our original Koi, and have never had a death or illness. No hole in the side or any of the other maladies that can occur. I am told we are lucky, as issues do arise. I feel the reason we have NEVER had a disease, is the use of the Saki-Hikari food we use. The growth formula, and color enriching effect is amazing to us. The pellets are such high quality, that the waste product after digestion is minimal, as the food is fully metabolized due to its high quality. It really does make a difference. Though our climate is mild, we do switch from this high protein food, to Saki-Hikari Wheat Germ Formula. We change from growth formula to wheat germ in late September. Then from wheat germ to growth, again in March. There are of course, many good products for all of us to consider. However, For us, there is no other food to consider than the Saki-Hikari foods! I’ve mostly used hikari as my main food for my koi. I have 10 kois bought @ different years from 2-9 inches. This fish was bought in 2019 @ 4 inches now 29 inches 6-15-2022.

I had one Koi that I’ve had for over 2 years and he never seems to get bigger. I know some fish just don’t grow as fast as others, this summer we switched to this food and he grew like twice his size! My other fish grew as well, I take a hammer and crush some for the babies and they loved it and also grew. I can’t say if it clouds the water or not because it rained almost everyday in our area this summer. So my water was cloudy all summer. It is on the super expensive side but everything with the koi hobby is expensive anyway. I feel if I want quality koi I have to feed quality food. Hope my review helps

Our fish are growing faster than we have ever seen. We have been amazed by the results and the fact that in only a month the difference is so noticeable.
