Review: Great for stamping and then watercoloring - This is not my first time purchasing Fabriano Hot Press Watercolor paper. I had never heard of hot press until I saw a crafter using it in a video. I love to do watercolor and had always used the super good cold press paper, but sometimes if I used a stamp I had to stamp it up to 4 times to get a good impression. With hot press paper you just stamp once and then watercolor. The paper can take quite a bit of paint and water which surprised me. It is also amazing for ink blending. I take my finished projects and turn them into cards. This paper also cuts very easily with my paper trimmer. This is the ‘good stuff’ and is worth the price for me. After putting the work in on a project I dont want it to just be ‘OK’. I want it to look spectacular and that is what this paper gives me. I will keep purchasing this from desertcart as it is a good price and quality paper. I wish people had told me long ago that ‘Paper Matters’!! Because it does. I also usually use cold press as I’ve found hot press to be not as good at handling water. Well this pad has me hooked! It’s hot press, and handled the water very well!
