I now have nearly chin length hair, and I have to keep it up or it'll be in my face all day.I'm not special, but those baby plastic hair clips don't do it for me. What has worked is a giant Scuncii clip , which holds great, but the clip handles stick out and makes it hard to lie back in my chair or they bump against the headrest when I'm driving.I saw this and decided to get it - I had a gift card balance, otherwise I may have passed it by because I'm cheap. But I'll probably get another one because THIS THING WORKS.The combs are metal. The elastic is strong, and the whole thing feels really substantial. There is no clear elastic under those beads, it's more like a bungee cord.I was even able to get it in my hair without any bad words!
