I bought 12 of them (3 sets) and think I may buy more to get through the holiday's. I love that I can wake up and tell Alexa to turn on Christmas and everything light right up. It is so nice to turn the TV off and then tell Alexa to turn on THE FAN!! White noise from the fan is so sleep inducing. But if you don't need that, then use the smart plug to turn your TV off at a certain time, or upon voice command. Use it to ask Alexa to turn off your lamp......so many conveniences you can add to your life..... And best of all...it works!!!!....oh! And one other thing. A lot of these smart plugs use apps that don't resemble their names. So, like me, you might find one in a drawer and decide to use it for something. You look at the apps on your phone and you have no idea which app it uses, so you have to research it. With Gosund...it uses the Gosund app...so there is no guesswork or research about which app you need for it. We live in the north east and in winter, the weather gives us the chill.. bought these to plug in our portable heaters since these are 16 amps.
