Exo Terra T-Rex Skull Terrarium Decor

Lol I mean it's a dinosaur skull for a terrarium of course it's awesome! The material color and size are great. Setting up a jurrasic theme snake tank and I'm very excited with this item.

I am SO glad that I got this. I have a Blizzard Corn Snake, about five feet long, and maybe about a half dollar or less circumference at the biggest point. I like the T-Rex skull since not only does it give lots of places for him to wrap around and explore, but if he just wants to burrow beneath it, it can keep some heat off of him. I've placed mine beneath the heat lamp as a sort of 'medium zone' and he adores it; the plastic doesn't get hot and nasty and is very easy to clean. My only complaint is that you'll want to look over the holes and teeth for any sharp edges, just little pieces where the plastic mold might not have come away completely. Very easy to remove and file down and a part of just about any plastic reptile item, just doesn't forget to check! This hidey-hole looks fantastic and sufficiently terrifying when under the red glow of the heat lamp, I'm in love and so is my little man. TL;DR A great size and fantastic details, make sure to check for and file down any sharp edges then enjoy!

It's perfect. Went well with my sons 40gallon tank for his turtle.

I purchased this for my 90 gallon aquarium which houses an Oscar. I pre-soaked it for a week changing the water every other day. the finish seemed to diminish but looks good. I put in tank and it looks cool. If you are using this for a reptile or have smaller fish that can hide in it, I would definitely file down the inside of it. There are very sharp edges surrounding the holes of the skull. I don't see how they sell this with such sharp inside edges that can definitely cut your pet. But for my use, its great.

Perfect center piece for my baby Ball Pythons enclosure. The theme is Jurassic Park, so this was spot on and just what I was looking for.

It looks awesome in my viv, and my beardie loves to climb onto it to bask. He looks wicked cool preening on this skull with a desert backdrop. The only downside is, since it is small, I'm a little afraid of crickets or roaches getting underneath, as there's no way my dragon would be able to get them out. Definitely be sure to check it from time to time to make sure you're not getting a nest of insects making a home down there! Otherwise, this is an awesome addition to any terrarium. I wish it were a little larger, as it does feel a little dwarfed in my 36x18x17 tank, but it's still totally worth it.

It looks neat, but our snake hates it! It is smaller then we thought it would be...might be a good size for a corn snake, small lizard, scorpion or tarantula though. The skull did have a lot of extra material chunks on the inside and outside that were sharp enough that they actually cut my fingers when I picked it up... We had to break off and file down a lot of sharp pieces before putting into our snakes terrarium.

I love the way this T-Rex skull looks. I would say it's a bit too big for my 10 gallon with all my other decorations and plants but would be perfect for a 20 gallon so I plan on using it for a future project. Definitely in love with it 😜

I'm pretty happy with this decoration. It's nice and thick and fairly sturdy feeling. I haven't had to clean it yet, but I imagine it will be a little tedious with all the little nooks and such. I only wish that it was a little bit bigger than it is.

Moin zusammen! Der Krokodilschädel kam wie erwartet superschnell an und sieht toll aus! Das Material ist steinhart und fühlt sich wertig an, leider war an der Schnauze ein kleines Stück abgebrochen, das ist wohl aber eher die Schuld der deutschen Post als von Amazon. Habe den Kundenservice angeschrieben und direkt das Angebot einer Neulieferung bekommen oder einer Preisminderung bekommen, habe letztere gewählt, da der Schädel in meinem Terrarium so liegt, das man die Bruchstelle ohnehin nicht sieht, der würde sonst nur als Ausschuss weggeworfen. Aufpassen mit der Größe, der Schädel ist nur unwesentlich größer als meine Handfläche, für kleinere Tiere als Versteck super, für alles größer 60cm an Schlange aber defintiv zu klein, danach also nur noch Deko. Noch was: In anderen Rezensionen steht was von scharfen Kanten - das ist Blödsinn. Ja, es sind ein, zwei Zacken zu finden, die lassen sich aber sogar mit einer Nagelfeile ruckzuck beseitigen, das ist aber eher eine optische Sache. In der freien Natur wird auch nicht jeder scharfe Stein in Watte gepackt und grade Schlangen nehmen durch ihre Schuppen bei sowas keinen Schaden. Tolles Produkt!
