This cookbook (The Complete Baking Book For Young Chefs....) is wonderful. There are lots of pictures, easy to understand instructions, great tips, and has fun recipes. My Granddaughter and I are having loads of fun as we make our way through the recipes.

The book we got technically belongs to our 8 yo son. But the way *I* use it, you'd think it was made for adults. This book is incredible. Every recipe we have tried has been a success. This isn't something one can easily say about baking books made for children. MOST baking books for children simplify things to a point of mediocre product... It goes something like this: The kids get their "I MADE THIS" satisfaction, and promptly the recipe is forgotten. After a couple recipes, then, the book is relegated to downstairs bookshelf, which then eventually make their way to the goodwill pile. THIS book is different. Every recipe we tried makes excellent product (I have even replaced some of my go-to recipes with recipes out of this book!) And the recipes are downright fool-proof, easy to follow, and (most importantly) leaves room for plenty of edits and extensions. You can tell a ton of effort has gone into research and perfection of these recipes. I now have recommended this book to multiple grown-ups. I honestly think this is the best there is for anyone start out baking no matter how old you are.

Perfect for kids. My 11 year old twins have just gotten into baking. They’ve made several recipes from this book with little to no adult help. The instructions are perfectly clear, the recipes are very forgiving and turn out fantastic, and make very manageable quantities. The small quantities are key. My boys want to try making lots of different things, but we’re not swimming in cookies. Great book!

Awesome book! Be cautious with the spiral bound books, I received one in perfect condition and one that the cover looked messed up, the rest of the book was perfect it was just the cover, but for brand new i expected better. But overall the book is amazing, perfect for kids of any age learning to cook.

it comes with really easy to more complicated recipes. its for little ones to big ones. it is easy to understand with the chef hats reference.
