Review: Del Ray dinner ware received promptly and without shipping damage. One dish had visible crack beneath the glaze. I did not want to return the set, even though I knew desertcart would gladly replace it. I couldn’t square with the cost of shipping the set 3 times because of a defective, 8 oz. dish, so I reached out to Mikasa customer service, sent pictures and a copy of the receipt, and they got back to me, promptly, advising that a replacement dish was on its way. VERY IMPRESSED! , and desertcart should be, as well, since they were spared the extra shipping and dealing with a returned, heavy item. By the way, we love the understated elegance of Del Ray design. Perfect for every day and easy to dress up for more formal dinners!!

**Q: Does Mikasa bone china get very hot in the microwave? Is it truly "dishwasher safe" for daily use?**
A: Mikasa bone china does not get unusually hot in microwave and it does great in the dishwasher!  I have Loria and am quite satisfied with it.

**Q: Is this dinnerware set lead free?**
A: There was nothing saying it was, but I can’t believe it has lead.  Mikasa is very reputable China.  I would suggest calling Mikasa customer service.

**Q: Is Mikasa lead, cadmium and arsenic free?**
A: It is bone china and therefore lead or cadmium free.

**Q: Do these scratch with utensils?**
A: There are no scratches as it’s bone china.

Del Ray dinner ware received promptly and without shipping damage. One dish had visible crack beneath the glaze. I did not want to return the set, even though I knew Amazon would gladly replace it. I couldn’t square with the cost of shipping the set 3 times because of a defective, 8 oz. dish, so I reached out to Mikasa customer service, sent pictures and a copy of the receipt, and they got back to me, promptly, advising that a replacement dish was on its way. VERY IMPRESSED! , and Amazon should be, as well, since they were spared the extra shipping and dealing with a returned, heavy item. By the way, we love the understated elegance of Del Ray design. Perfect for every day and easy to dress up for more formal dinners!!
