They look great and work great. When installing the louver attachment may bind with the cover plate. Mine took a little finesse, basically loosening the cover plates to get them all working properly. Review: A Great Way to Upgrade Your Home's Safety and Aesthetic - For years I had battery operated lights on my upstairs landing. They didn't last very long and I often put off replacing them but finally I decided to do something about it. I considered 12 volt LEDs with colors and smart systems, which are all very cool but not exactly what I was looking for. These lights sealed the deal. They wire up like any other 120 V receptacle, so no need for power converters or LED drivers. If you are comfortable adding receptacles and fishing wire through walls, then you have an incredible amount of flexibility on how you want to branch your circuit. When I added them to my stairway, I pulled power off of the switch and pigtail wired each light in parallel. The most challenging part was drilling through the studs. They have a clear white light with off + 3 levels of brightness, 4000K I believe. Each nightlight senses ambient light levels and turns on/off accordingly. My only concern so far is that awkward dawn/dusk time of day when the lights can't decide if it's time to be on or off and flicker. If it gets too annoying, I'll add a smart switch that will power the circuit according to a schedule.
