Mounting Installation Review and Suggestions - Nice Product
My daughter purchased this mount to hang a 65 Inch, 50 Pound, LG Television and of course, asked if I could mount it to the wall and then mount the television. The mount arrived well packed and contained instructions, a crazy amount of mounting screws, 4 lag bolts, small level, and a mounting template. The instructions were very generic but easy to follow. There is a plastic package with compartments for a lot of screws. First and most important, you must know where the studs in the wall are. I would not recommend mounting this to the wall in any way but with lag bolts into studs. Of course, the studs where this was mounted were wider than 16 inches on center so I had to install two 2x4 pieces of wood to the wall secured with 3 inch screws. (2x4 is 1 ½ inches thick, sheet rock is ½ inch thick for a total of 2 inches. 3” screws then go into the studs an inch). Installation Note: There are two metal brackets that attach vertically to the back of the TV that can be adjusted up and/or down. On this TV, they could not adjust down based on the shape of the bottom of the TV as it curved out. There is a movable clip on the bracket that goes towards the bottom of the TV. This clip attaches to the bottom bar that is put on the wall mount to give you an idea of the height of the TV once mounted to help with the location installing the bracket. After installing the 2x4’s, I centered the TV for where it should be mounted and then used the template to find the location of the lag bolts. One nice item on the template is that it has an adhesive strip on both sides so it will stay in place while finding the lag bolt holes. I pre-drilled the holes per the pattern provided to make it easier to install the lags. I also purchased shorter and slightly thicker lag bolts to mount the bracket to the 2x4’s with my ratchet set. Make sure the Template is level! After pre-drilling the holes, removed the mounting template (saved it) and installed the main mounting bracket using 4 Lags and Washers with my ratchet set. Note: Make sure the correct side is up. There was an arrow pointing up on my mount. Once secured, install the horizontal metal brackets or arms to the mount. They come in two pieces and slide through the mount in the specified area. Use a screw to secure them. Installation Note 2 – There are a lot of screws, washers, and spacers in compartments labelled with letters or numbers. The mount comes with a lot more screws and hardware then you will need. Just follow the instructions. For example, the instructions showed three sets of screws and various spacers to attach the vertical brackets to the TV. I only needed the last screws specified without any spacers. In other words, one of the sets indicated should work with your TV as each TV is different. Mount Test – Before Mounting the TV, after the mount is installed, pull the mounting arms forward and give it a pull to make sure it is secure. Again, I would not install this without using the Lags into Studs. Mounting the TV requires two people. Lift the TV and secure the upper support and then the lower support. While the 2nd person is holding the TV, flip the metal clip over the lower bar and secure to the TV. This will prevent the TV from coming off after installation. Once installed, the TV can be pulled forward away from the wall, swiveled left or right, and can be angled down. There are many adjustments if the TV is not level. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. The mount is very strong and well made. It was not hard to install although you needed the correct tools to do it. It is easy to adjust as well. It took me about an hour to install it and hang the TV. Now that I have done it once, I would say it could be installed in 30 minutes or less as long as you know where the studs are. Items Needed for Installation: Power Drill and Bits (pre-drill lag holes), Phillips Head Screwdriver (attach vertical brackets to TV by hand!), Ratchet Set (Installing Lags), Flashlight (final screws to secure the clips to the TV so you can see what you are doing), Level (my own although one was provided), Pencil, and Patience! You will need a 2nd person to hang and mount the TV. You will need a stud finder to find the studs if you do not have one. You can get a very cheap one at a hardware store or look for studs via nail or screw holes that are visible, or put a lot of small holes into the wall to find the studs!

If you are looking at mounts, look no further. I used this mount for a 4k 60 inch Samsung TV and it worked great. The frame is very sturdy but that's not what I'm going to focus on this review. I am blow away on how EASY this application was. It might sound petty but I've assembled my fair deal of IKEA furniture and other things which sometimes leave you scratching your head. Now with this mount, it's pretty straight forward, mount a bracket to the TV, mount the wallmount to the wall, and then connect the two. However this is where Mounting Dream comes WAY beyond the competition. First off, they provide a leveler which is kinda a big deal if you don't have one already. They also provide a wall mounting template so you can see exactly where to mount it AND with said template they even provide a leveler to stick to the paper so you can make sure the template is level! Now if this wasn't good enough ,their setup system is awesome. Each set of screws and washers comes in their own labeled pocket so you don't have to guess what screw is what. On top of all of that jazz, they supply a HDMI cable with said purchase. I know that it's more of a gimmick and I'm not the type to get sucked in with "addons." With that being said, the HDMI cable that is supplied is pretty high quality. It is braided on the outside and feels expensive. I had another set of HDMI cords ready to go I didn't use because this cable was perfect. Overall, I don't know how they are making money since the price is so competitive however if you are looking for an absolutely SOLID wall mount like I was, with duel arms since they are more sturdy, don't look any further. I can't recommend them more highly, as this setup was a breeze!

Fantastic, super-heavy duty Wall Mount - Bought two of them!
This is a fantastic, value priced, but HEAVY DUTY wall mount. I originally bought it to mount my 52inch Sharp LC-52LE640U LCD tv on the wall in the bedroom. ( This TV has the 600 x 400 VESA mounting holes.) My experience was so good that I bought a second one for my bigger LG 65-Inch LED (model TV65UH6150) which, oddly enough, used a smaller 300 x 300 VESA mounting pattern. The box comes with all of the mounting hardware you need, including a wide range of bolt, washer and spacer sizes, great instructions and a mounting template. Even I couldn't screw this up! Initially, I was a little worried as I would be mounting this onto the old, solid walls of my NYC apartment, so I wasn't sure if the TV mount would hold up. But Mounting Dream provides 4 pretty decent sized bolts, I think M16 x 2.0 inch bolts, with matching Toggler Alligator anchors. Once I had the unit mounted, my worries were alleviated. This thing is NOT moving! Putting the mount up is super easy, as they include a cool little "template" with a mini "level" which you affix to the template. Once you tape the template onto your wall (the template even comes with the backing tape!) you just have to drill the holes. The instructions even told me what size drill bit to use! No measuring, no guessing! Perfect the first time! After mounting the second unit on my livingroom wall, for my bigger LG tv and watching tv for a week, I decided that I wanted to change the position a little, to bring the unit down a bit. (In addition to using a smaller mounting pattern than my Sharp tv, the LG's mounting bolt were on the bottom of the TV, which pushed the TV up higher. With the Sharp, the mounting wholes were up higher, so the TV "hung" low.) To that end, I was worried about reusing the plastic anchors so I looked online to see if I could buy some. These things were not cheap. ($17 for a 4 pack.) So, I reached out to Mounting Dream and explained my situation and they immediately sent me out a new set of bolts and anchors, free of charge!! For the price, build quality, customer service, ease of installation and various mounting options provided, I HIGHLY recommend this product!

Great mount once the installation struggle is over
We used this Mounting Dream TV Wall Mount, UL Listed Full Motion Mount Bracket for 42-84 Inch Flat Screen bracket to install a SAMSUNG 50" Class QN90C Neo QLED 4K Smart TV. Overall, very satisfied with the mount itself. Not so satisfied with the installation process and engineering of the product in a couple of areas. Hence the reason for 4 stars, not 5. PROS: -This mount is great once the installation struggle is over. THE STRUGGLE IS REAL! -Pieces and hardware were all packaged very nicely. -It's a nice heavy duty, secure TV mount. -Articulates and tilts nicely once installed. -TV sits very level on it. -Centered really nice in the almost exact opening we had to install it into. CONS: -The instructions leave a bit to be desired. It was like interpreting hieroglyphics to some degree. No words, just pictures, which was quite confusing at times. Mainly because the hardware included can be swapped based on your installation needs and in some cases hard to figure out which to use when all options are listed on the same picture pointing to the same holes. -There was NO TEMPLATE included even though the packing list said there should be one. I had to draw and cut my own out. That was quite annoying. -It is a heavy mount and much easier to be installed with two people. It can be installed by yourself, however, putting the TV on it takes TWO people! -The TV sits on the extension bars with hooks but to secure it you have to flip up a small bracket on the arm to secure over the extension bars. The brackets flip up not down which makes it SUPER DIFFICULT to secure with the screw. The TV at this point tilts very far forward because you cannot adjust the tilt until these brackets are secured. So one person has to hold the TV to keep it from ripping the mount out of the wall or tilting so far forward it falls off of the mount. Meanwhile, the other person has to get behind the TV with half their body to get to the small bracket and hold it up, and while in our case, standing on a ladder, while holding a screw in the hole so it won't fall out with the other hand, while trying to screw the screw in with an imaginary 3rd hand was crazy hard to do. I was the one holding the TV up while hubby was trying to install the screw so I climbed the ladder higher to hold the TV with my body more and reach under and hold the bracket for him to get it screwed in. Whew! What a nightmare. I am still not sure how we wound up getting it done but that part took us longer than the rest combined. To be fair, this might not be such an issue if you are on the ground and not both standing on ladders. -As mentioned above, the TV is crazy tilted forward at this point but now the flip up brackets are secured so you don't feel like it will jump of the wall anymore. However, there are two hex screws that you have to get behind the TV again to get to in a very awkward place to tighten with that nasty like hex tool to stop the crazy tilt. Hubby said a few choice words at this stage. SUGGESTIONS TO THE MANUFACTURER TO MAKE THIS PRODUCT SO MUCH BETTER: -Make the 2 small brackets that secure the TV to the mount flip down NOT up so you don't need 3 hands to install ONE screw. -Use some twist locking mechanism like a twisting knob screw to adjust the tilt instead of those barely accessible nasty hex screws.

Wonderful Mount - Study, Easy to install
This is my first wall mount and I wanted a mount to support my 65" 50 lb TV without issue. This mount is perfect for my needs. I also needed one to fit my studs which are ~17 inches apart, therefore this 24" mount works great! My mount is NOT centered on the wall, it is actually about 4 inches off to the left. I had to use the extension to help with the offset and work with my studs which about 17 inches apart. I shifted the TV support bracket to the right to offset the fact that my studs are not centered on my wall. I was able to install and mount the TV by myself since the TV is only 50 lbs. I cannot comment on the time to install because I distracted most of the time during the install. The hardest part was measuring everything to make sure the mount was high enough and centered enough on the studs. The assembly of the mount and TV bracket was easy and straight forward. The TV brackets fit perfectly for my cheap TV 600x400 VESA pattern, which is the max this mount can support. There was no adjustment on the TV brackets, and I guess it would be nice to have, but more than likely would affect smaller patterns. Since it fit my TV perfectly, I am happy with it. It is sturdy and strong for my 50 lb TV. I have no worries about it holding my TV or moving it around on the arms, especially since its screwed in the studs. The tilt works good too. Just force the tilt and it works great. I only tilted it once though. I am not worried about using the screwed on extensions. They were a firm fit and there is no flex on the wall or the TV from moving the TV around. Shipping was really fast and arrived all in one piece with no damage. The packing was good and all the items being labeled correctly in their bags and in the instructions helped, esp since I was distracted during my install.

Finest quality product I have found
This mount is one of the best purchases I have made on Amazon. The mount is excellent quality. I read many reviews before I bought this one. The product is as good as any product I have purchased in many years. The metal has tight tolerances and fit together with no slop. The capture nuts are a step above what others use and make assembly a breeze. The engineer who designed it made it very easy to assemble with instructions that take into consideration every conceivable configuration. The parts are all numbered and sealed in plastic strips, the instructions show pictures of the steps, along with the number of the part they are describing. Each step is clearly defined. To start they have you take the two screws holding the two pieces of the assembled bracket apart. Then you stick the small plastic level they include onto the template and tape the template to the wall, making sure you use the correct template markings for your particular wall stud spacing, I.E. 16, 18 inches between studs, drill pilot holes into the studs. take the template down and put the wall half of the mount on the wall, mount that half of the bracket, attach the TV half of the bracket to the back of the TV , using whatever configuration fits your TV mounting holes, my case I had to use the square frame version, because the 4 holes on the back of my TV(Samsung) were spaced quite a distance apart. After I attached the now assembled frame to the TV I waited for help to hang the TV onto the wall mounted bracket, If I was merely still in my 60s I would have done it by myself as the bracket has a lip that holds the TV bracket to the wall bracket giving you support while you put the two previously removed screws back into the bracket, securing the two halves of the bracket together but my wife insisted I wait for help lifting the 65 inch TV onto the bracket. That was the only help I used in this installation. I am very impressed with this bracket and I will definitely use additional ones to mount other TVs in other rooms. I feel very strongly this company makes very high quality products designed with the consumer in mind and they get my vote for product of the year. The picture shown as a sample is the configuration I used for my particular TV, other TVs may use the bracket without the square frame required for my Samsung TV, the bracket has mounting holes and bolts to mount the smaller bracket directly to the TV. The also include a lot of spacers, screws and standoffs in case your TV has shorter or longer mounting holes. They took great care to make it as easy as possible to use. The movement is firm and yet easy to move when access to the back of the TV is needed.

By far the best offering in TV mounts
I've owned this wall mount for over 4 years. I installed it myself, mounting a 55" LD. No problems, It's rugged & versatile & virtually invisible from most viewing positions. Just make sure you have a good stud finder. The best part is the price: a fraction of the cost of more touted brands. Can't figure that out. Anyway, one of the best purchases I ever made in my 25+ years on Amazon.

Straightforward to install, very sturdy, and easy to adjust
I purchased this to mount my 55" 4K TV to the wall. The instructions were straightforward, and the lag bolts are very sturdy. The allen key holder on the frame is a nice touch in case you ever need to adjust it and can't remember where you put the allen key. The mount came on time, and with all the bolts, spacers and adapters you need for most TVs, as well as a small level to help you level your TV after mounting. You MUST ensure you are mounting through to concrete or studs with the lag bolts not just to drywall, as one of the tests is to extend it fully out and pull down on it. I like the swivel and tilt adjustments, as they allow you to pull the TV out from the wall and swivel it. Once you set the tilt angle, I can't see ever needing to adjust that. One piece of advice I would give is to figure out how high the TV needs to be and then figure out how it fits onto the mount. My TV ended up a tad higher than I would like, but I don't want to dismount it, drill new holes and move it about 6 inches lower I centred the mount height based on the open area, but it does not mound exactly in the centre of the TV vertically. Overall I would recommend this unit.
