Review: Great job restoring plastic requires taping off - I used this on my son's 2001 Ranger to restore much of the faded plastic. It did a really great job that lasted a long time. I tried multiple products on different parts to see what worked best and this is my choice. My complaint is because it is a spray application it is very easy to over spray. You don't want this on your paint per the instructions. I had some minor overspray, but it did not really do any damage to the overspray but you can see a difference there. I now tape off the areas around it so I don't get it anywhere near the paint. This makes it more difficult. I have used this on his door handles, nurf bar steps, side steps and rear bumper. The rear bumper was a bit beyond repair and nothing can help it, but all the others showed great improvement and nice blacks for several months. This left no oily residue on the handles and kept them easy to open and grasp unlike some other wipe on products that would keep surfaces slick. I will try to add photos before and after the next round of applications so others can see the improvement. I will buy again when I need to.

**Q: does it w0rk and last?**
A: Yes, it will last longer than Armour All for example, although I like Armour All this is definitely better.  As with any protectant it will look best and last longer when you scrub the surface with a good de-greaser and rinse it well. If you notice some vehicles have plastic body panels that turn white or faded.  Scrub them a couple times until the suds no longer change color and apply this product and they will look like new. Of course this is not permanent once again, but it will last longer than most. I notice this product also CONTAINS a sunscreen.  Most products ramble on about "uv damage" but if you read carefully they say they can make things "look better" from sun damage but do not specifically say their product can prevent it.  This product can prevent it. Also, make sure you shake it well each time before using. Good luck. Hope this helps.

**Q: will this product work on Gray plastic?**
A: Yes it will work on any color plastic. This is an acrylic compound that provides a clear sheen on anything dull. It will dull your paint if you get the product on it.

**Q: My Jeep has gray bumpers - what do you use for that? Thanks**
A: We use this on our Jeep Wrangler. It keeps the fenders black, not that faded old grey. You have to do it regularly, like when you wash your car.  So far this has been the best “back to black” product that I’ve found for that.

**Q: Can it fix the scratches on shiny external trim ? My trim got scratches from the car wash machine, it’s not deep but lost all the shiny layer.**
A: Didn’t work for me. Made it kinda glossy black for a few hours and then faded back to gray. I was disappointed....

This worked great for me! Went on kinda like clear spray paint so it is a little smelly but it has done great for me!! I have had it on for a year and have noticed no fading! My car had super dull places when I got it. This made it look even and shiny black but not too much if you get what im saying. Very durable and easy to use!!
